love the emoticon a great thing to do is sit or stand in the sun barefoot with your feet on the grass or sand for 10-15 mins (you could even do this while reading a book) not only do you get some much needed Vitamin D (sunshine vitamin), but you also spend some time grounding yourself!

Check the thermostat.

Extremes in temperatures (too hot or too cold) can make it hard to fall asleep. Most people sleep best at a temperature between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Drink in moderation. Alcohol may help you fall asleep, but you'll likely wake up in the middle of the night due to withdrawal. Avoid or limit your use of alcohol at least a few hours before bedtime.

I have been blessed and normally do not have trouble going to sleep. I do it I can take a Benadryl and sleep 12-14 hours.

I have a hot chocolate at night after dinner. (still winter here in Australia) But mine is just cacao with half a cup of boiling water no sugar to that I add milk that i have made with frothing part of my cappuccino machine.

It's great for me and relatively healthy with no sugar and as I have organic full cream milk so no (GMO's) in the milk.

It can work well for many.

Meditating is great!

If I can't sleep I repeat health affirmations in my head and I soon fall off to sleep.

Being not too hot or too cold helps also.

I don’t enjoy “white noise” but can go to sleep with the tv on or others talking when I go on trips.

Add white noise.

Most people can't fall asleep when it's too loud.Wear ear plugs to drown out disturbing sounds and turn on "white noise" (like a fan or rain CD) so you can sleep more soundly.

Be productive. If thinking keeps you up at night, get out of bed and deal with those thoughts in a positive Way--pay that bill or make a to-do list, for example. Go back to bed when you’re ready to sleep.

Limit caffeine. It keeps you awake day and night. Aim for less than 1-2 cups of caffeinated beverages during the day, and avoid them at least four hours before bed for optimal sleep.

Get a check-up. If you toss and turn most nights, you could be suffering from a sleep disorder. Visit your physician--the sooner you find out what's wrong, the sooner you can fix it.

Don't oversleep.Hitting the snooze button each day and sleeping in on the weekends can actually make you MORE tired. Aim for a healthy 7-8 hours each night.
