I try to get at least 6 hours of sleep and exercise once I'm out of bed. I usually aim for 30 min of cardio. On those days that I have no motivation to get up and workout I convince myself to put in at least 10 min. I also try to make better food choices through out the day. When I eat crappy my body feels sluggish for a couple of days.

I just try to stick with my usual routine, lots of water and daily exercise. If I go without a couple of days on not moving much, I feel sluggish! Laying off the sugar makes me feel like I have things under control, it's hard though!

Slow and steady wins the race!

What do you do to have more energy?

I have the best energy when I am following my plan - sleeping well, eating right, exercising daily, and drinking water. I also don't have stress in my life anymore since I retired. emoticon

Seems like I have the same tool-set in my pocket: exercise, an afternoon expresso. If it's cold outside, sometimes a short brisk walk inhaling some cooler air helps, too.

A: I try to go to sleep at a decent time (not always feasible), exercise, get up and do something else, or if I'm really dragging I drink a cup of coffee (I only have a few cups a month)
