10 reasons I want to lose this weight

1. I want to experience myself working hard and reaching my goal.
2. I want to do adventure travel. I have to be fit!

MOTIVATION:

1. I have health issues. I need to get the weight off!

I want to be able to run and play with my daughter.
I want to find more energy and stamina.
I want to be able to wear real pants (without "required" elastic waistbands)
I want to be able to walk without thighs rubbing or shorts creeping up
I want to eliminate various health and skin problems, including reducing my blood pressure naturally (no meds).

I want to feel better and be able to exercise and get stronger. Losing weight will make it easier for me to stay healthy as heart disease and cancer risks go along with being overweight. I want to not have to get any more joint replacements as I love to play golf and I really want to continue this as long as possible. It is important to me now to keep in touch with all of the virtual friends I have made on SP. I also want to spend more time with my sister because she has Stage 4 kidney disease, so I need to call her or see her more often. I have been heavy all of my life and I want to be thinner and healthier before I leave this earth and I am hoping if I am healthy, I will live longer. I pray to God everyday to tell him how thankful I am for every day he gives me and I pray for other's in need of his blessing.

Today's assignment is to list 10 reasons you want to lose weight.

1: Trying to keep off of insulin for diabetes, keeping A1C in normal range
2: Mobility, being able to walk without having to stop to catch my wind.
3: To set a good example for my kids, grand kids and great grand kids
4: To ease my arthritic joints
5: to feel good about myself
6;So I will feel stronger
7: To keep up with the Grand- kids
8: So I can get through a full dance without having to sit down
9: I don't want to be a burden to my kids or family because of poor health

1. I am pre-diabetic so I want to lower my risk for getting full blown diabetes.
2. I want to reduce pressure on my joints to minimize osteoarthritis flair-ups.
3. So that I won't be a burden to others because of failing health due to weight issues.
4. To be able to run upstairs without being winded.
5. So I can enjoy longer walks, even take up a new exercise workout.
6. To enjoy playing, exercising, hiking, biking, etc. with my hubby, kids & grandkids.

1- I want to see my grandchildren grow up and play with them now and their children then without being out of breath.
2 - I want to lower my blood sugars and maybe get off of some of my medications.
3 - I want to just walk up those stairs in my building without feeling Iike I'm dragging 100 pounds up the stairs.
4 - I want to fit in the clothes hanging in my closet that has been there for over a year.
5 - I want to be able to lift things other people my age can lift and maybe get some muscles in my arms and abs.
6 - To hear from family members tell me I look great and ask me how I did it.
7 - To keep me from having a heart attack or stroke.

10 reasons I want to lose weight:

1. to improve my overall health. Over the past years (about 2014-2016) my weight has steadily increased and my health has steadily gotten worse. Avoiding diabetes, getting off some meds, and getting blood work numbers within proper ranges are all major reasons why I'm losing weight (again!) and it's also about confidence, feeling good, having a great self-esteem and loving myself...
I want...
2. to look great in the clothes I love in a size I feel good about.
3. to feel good in my own skin.
4. to feel comfortable on a crowded beach in a bathing suit withOUT a t-shirt over it.
5. to have more energy.
6. to increase my self-esteem.
7. to stop being embarrassed of myself.
8. to be my best at events that may arise (weddings, vacations, etc.)
9. to be around and energetic for any grandbabies that may come along
10. to be confident, sexy, & "hot" even, lol, for my age, anyhow. :)

I started losing weight and am going to continue to do so until my physicians and I are happy with my weight, health, and condition because:

1. My health declined so rapidly and I was gaining so fast and I was unable to care for myself.
2. I decided I wanted to LIVE healthy and not just exist by taking a handful of meds a day.
3. I wanted to be able to emoticon more than 50 steps a day.
4. I wanted to decrease my chronic back and knee pain.
5. I wanted to plan vacations again knowing I could walk around and FIT in plane seats.
6. I want to feel good about the way I look.
7. I want to ride my Harley again.
8. I want to wear a size 12 jeans (don't laugh, the smallest I ever remember is a 14).
9. I don't want to always be the biggest person in a group.
10. I wanted to shave my own legs. (that I can do now)

1 - The Bible says that my body is a "temple of God". I sure haven't treated it that way before, but I want to treat it better for God. He is my everything. This is obedience.
2 - I would like to have more energy.
3 - I need to make healthier choices as an example for my children.
4 - I want to wear cute clothes!
5 - I am trying to find the old me ... who used to be a size 6, not a 20.
6 - I want to be able to do fun things with my friends without being tired or slow all the time.
7 - I want to feel better.
8 - I am going to be stronger.
9 - I want my confidence to go up - not because of how I look, but because I will be able to say that I did it with hard work!

10 reasons I want to lose weight

1. Be fit...so I can feel the strength in my muscles.
2. Be in control- decide what to eat or not. Self esteem.
3. Fit into the same clothes all year and many years to come
4. To be healthy. And preserve my joints & artificial joints!
5. To feel the endorphins that come with a great workout.
6. To enjoy the sports I love - hiking, tennis, biking, sailing, kayaking
7. To lower overall stress that comes with being overweight.
8. To feel pretty.
9. To enjoy wearing a bathing suit
10. To overall enjoy life more with my husband, family and friends.

My motivation for losing weight is
1.I want to be able to keep up with my grandchildren
2. My health
3. My clothes fit a lot better
4. I watch my 600 pound life. That is a very big motivator for me. I never want ot be like that, I don't want to have to depend on anyone to have to roll me over or to bathe me opr to dress me.


I know I can do this, and I know we can all do this as long as we are willing to try.

Ten Reasons I Want To Lose Weight / Improve My Health
