I keep searching YouTube for videos for Senior Citizens. There are a lot of different ones, some for sitting in a chair and others not sitting. Most all I have done are a good workout. Some I only do part of and do the rest another day.

I've been reading about different exercises for other parts of my body to alleviate issues like snoring, saggy skin, sleeplessness, etc. in my Women's World mags. While I'm at it, I do other exercises: like stretching, keg lifts, etc. Reminds me that every little bit adds up and makes me feel better. emoticon

2019 is our year! ;)

I do several lots of exercise each 8-12 minutes long. Then body weight moves for roughly 22 minutes at another time

Doing a series of Elder Gym exercises, there are 30 total in this presentation. Today I did an
Agility and Speed video. For me it was exhausting! They are all 30 minutes long.

Remember even housework is exercise, count the time you vacuum or clean the bathroom. Make a game out of it, you can do squats and stretching doing just these 2 things.

I have been riding my stationary bike for at least 30 minutes a day . It took awhile but I am reaching 7.5 miles and at least 200 calories . Feeling I am building resistance . I am 73 with a few at risk conditions. I am thankful for each minute .

I do moves 8-10 minutes 3/4 times a day. Putting one foot in front of another is great for me. Or sit & move my legs as am doing now

Did my 4th day of exercising for 30 minutes. Today it was lower body strengthening, my legs hurt so didn't keep my date with Leslie Sansone, don't think I would have made it.

My husband has heart issues so sometimes all he is up to doing is 10 min of exercise. I think about even that gets his heart circulating better and maybe the next day is better?

Thanks Jan, that is one of my faves too. She really does make you work!

Right now I am doing what is called ElderGym, exercises for seniors. It is on You Tube. It is done by Doug Schrift, he is a Physical Therapist and Senior Health Coach. He did a special for April, for those of us that are self isolating, to do at home. 1 for each day of the month. I started them on Friday and I am feeling the difference already. Each exercise day takes approximately 30 minutes.

Let's make the most of our having to stay at home and let's keep in shape for the month of May!

Cant always walk for more than 10 minutes at a time. Then the body weight moves I did worked well but if I do 10 minutes in 2 sessions my metabolism goes up twice.
