I checked out all the rules and info on the 5% challenges and nothing says that the posting of points has to be daily. Taken from KALISWALKER Information & Blog, I highlighted what could be applied:

"IMPORTANT NOTE - The 5% Challenge Teams are very active teams. THERE ARE EXPECTATIONS OF YOU AS A MEMBER. So maybe (this is my take on the paragraph), just a suggestion,

Sounds great, except I'm not sure about the paragraph checking in for 5 mins daily. I think that is too vague. And have we agreed to do this? Are we checking in by recording our weight and LTGL or checking into one of the threads. I think this should be more specific. Also, we want to be supportive, but if everyone has agreed to check in then I feel they should check in except in an emergency or no wi-fi, etc. but of course that's just my opinion.

P.S. About asking if someone needs a reminder, I think that encourages someone to take the easy way out and avoid commitment. I just looked on the BLC42 registration thread and a member of this team who we have given allowances for because of her busy schedule has signed up for their team that starts 1/8. That's okay to be on a different team, but if you have time to sign up for 2 teams then I don't feel we should be handing out "how can we help you to remember stuff - again just my opinion.

As for filling out the form,, it's going to be MANDATORY!!

I do that with the Required reading though its highly unusual that the rules change.

So on the SS we'll keep track of who has/hasn't filled it out.

I'm not working right now (UGH!) so I have more time on my hand to help out.

Questions we can throw around and then decide what you like Jacquie:

What do you like about winter/cooler weather? If you are in the Southern Hemisphere what do you enjoy about Summer?

What type of exercise do you do inside? Is there something you wish you could explore to do in the winter?

If you were healthy, and or had the money what is the biggest dream you'd come up with?

Is eating healthy harder for you now when it's so cold/hot? If so how do you want to approach it?

emoticon I hope your health is getting better.

I agree with your comment "Please bear in mind it can be a real struggle to get members to even fill this in." I know my first challenge I almost didn't remain on team because I didn't want to fill out form and the 2nd challenge I decided not to fill out the form. Of course now it does not bother me. I want to take a few days to reflect on how we can extract information from teammates without it being too intimidating and go back over past questionnaires, etc.

Any suggestions on what you'd like to see in the "introduce yourself to the team"?

Celebration days in the next three months is standard
I have read/understood the rules re posting etc also necessary
Name/area/time zone ditto

I liked the tips/hints and the something unexpected but open to suggestions.

I won't be repeating the congeniality thing this time as it was pretty much only the leaders that participated but I would like to use the CAD to help us get to know each other better.

Please bear in mind it can be a real struggle to get members to even fill this in so any suggestions that encourage participation would be gratefully received!

Duties of the ML

Motivational Leader - Creates and holds chat threads, keeps up with the team members special days like birthdays, posts daily member in the spotlight, or other occurrences and posts announcements. Reads and comments on members blogs. Does the daily - Member in the Spotlight. Please encourage the EL's to assist with this!

Motivation Leader (ML)

- Sets up Discussion Forum
- Is the team's main cheerleader
- Notifies team about member's B-day, anniversaries, special occasions
- Checks on team members that have dropped off the radar
- Notifies other team leaders when team members need to hear from them
- Team only challenges and surveys
- Assists other leaders as needed

Great Place to add in idea's, take some away perhaps. The BDays, Anniversaries, and Spark Anniversaries though are a part of the 5% and can't be removed.
