"Walking is man's best medicine." ~Hippocrates

The first Wednesday in April is National Walking Day and it encourages Americans of all ages to get out and stretch their legs and get their hearts pumping. The American Heart Association sponsors this day to remind people about the health benefits of taking a walk.

It's a serious time for Public Health!
Staying home to keep others safe from the Coronavirus is how we all do our part to help the world get better!

Leslie Sansone joins the American Heart Association today, National Walking Day, to remind everyone of the INCREDIBLE "healing" POWER of WALKING! It is medicine for an ailing world!

Science-backed, evidence-based, research-proven "WALKING" is good for the body and the soul! Strong heart and lungs! Strong bones and muscles! Better Brain function! Sleep better, Think better, Feel better .... the list of health benefits is really long ... best to start walking now!

Walking is, essentially, what humans are physically best at. We’re the slowest runners, the worst swimmers, and we can’t even fly without a big jet engine. Walking is the humans bread and butter.

Leslie Sansone has a new challenge for this April which is the Stay At Home & Walk Challenge which you can find in our Exercise & Challenge Forum.
