While I didn't make my goal, I am down. I have definitely hit a plateau and my loss is slow. I have recently started using my treadmill -- running about 25 minutes and walking 25. I think that is helping to ramp up the scale. I'm looking forward to the Winter challenge. I'll definitely do better with it. I'm still going to take the 7 pounds that I lost.

I'm happy with myself for sticking this challenge out even though I didn't exactly meet my goals. Even though I'm off by a few pounds I still lost over 20 pounds since we started. Hey there Fit and Fab Donies!

As we approach the end of this challenge I am asking for any fun name ideas any of you may have for the upcoming winter challenge. It will be from December through February. I've got some ideas, but my creativity seems to be taking a nap!

It's a little lower as of yesterday, 191.6, but also that TOM. Why does it have to come every month?! We get to count our weight 4 times a month, and for 3 of those 4 weeks we're either preparing for it, having it, or recovering from it! I guess I should suck it up because at this point in my life, the alternative would be worse haha.
I had some blood work done on Wednesday and get to see my endocrinologist next week, so hopefully she can give me some answers as to why my loss has been so slow and inconsistent. Until then, I guess I'll just keep on counting...

I have to start working harder and a new month is always a lot of motivation for me. I actually lost some weight in this small amount of time. I am glad, but need to lose a lot more.

I joined this challenge and then got kind of sidetracked. I have been eating pretty healthy though and exercising more than I was. I'm hoping that counts for something. I will try to get back on track too,.

I have chosen to readjust my goals as the weight is just not coming off very well lately. My goals were a bit too ambitious to begin with since I do not have much left to lose and it seems my strenuous exercise program is making me hold onto some water (and TOM, blech!) I am still doing very well! Tracking my calories and staying within my ranges. Exercising 5-6x per week. It's just going slow for me at this point and that's ok! All I am really shooting for is getting into the 130's by Christmas so we will see how that goes!

Happy World Food Day and weigh-in day!

I'm so proud of all of you!

Yesterday was pay day so I was able to stock up on healthy food. I have been WAY off track for months and I really need to get back to my healthier lifestyle! I have a really hard time "finding" time to be healthy. I'm really good at making excuses, but I do hope this new found motivation will help me succeed.

Our next weigh-in day is on Halloween! Keep pushing and beware of all those candy temptations!

I have been struggling a lot the last several weeks. Not only have I not been counting, I've pretty much been binging. I've almost lost all of the weight that I had gained during those couple of weeks and am back down to where I started. I plan on refocusing from here on out, but my numbers probably won't be too accurate even if I try really hard from now on. I'm not sure that I can really do this, but I'm going to revise my goals considering I have had so much weight gain in the last few weeks.

I have NO IDEA what is going on. I have been fluctuating like crazy and not losing. Yesterday it had at least said 199.4 so I thought my body was getting back on track but this morning it went back up again. I know at least that my lack of loss is not due to bad eating...I've been extremely consistent and always stay in my range, plus walking every night. I'm thinking my almost 30 pound loss might have thrown my body off and my thyroid hormones need to be adjusted, so it looks like I'm off to the doctor. Hoping for a better number by the next weigh in!

This week I started a strenuous exercise program so the gain on the scale is incredibly discouraging but it is temporary! I am still eating within my range and hitting all my nutrient goals so I know I'm not doing anything wrong! Hopefully my body will adjust after next week and start dropping again. I have always given up when I saw this happen before so this time I want to see what happens when I don't! I know I will be stronger for it in the end but boy oh boy does it make me want to throw the scale out the window.
