thank you! I have reconnected with an old spark buddy.. she is in the US and im in Canada, but its nice to have friends on here to talk about this kinda stuff.. I have made my promise.. and promise to check in with everyone here too.. it modivates me to help others too.., its nice to not feel alone with my struggles!!

I agree find a buddy. Stress is a horrible thing but we all deal with it at some point in our lives. You just have to change your mindset and not let it get to you. I have had to do that. Start small and make a promise to yourself that you are going to do this. You have to be selfish with this at some points. You have to put yourself first sometimes. You can do this.

Sorry you aren't feeling well. Colds stink. But once you get over it promise yourself 10 minutes at first to workout.

I have lived that way most of my 56 years of life. I am just coming to the realization that stress is a part of normal life. Yes sometimes we have more than the usual, but the problem lies in the fact that we have learned to deal with stress! I have always used food for comfort. I am just learning to make healthy choices, so when something happens my automatic response is to eat! We have to give ourselves time to learn new healthier ways to deal with life's ups & downs. Be kind to yourself!

Thank you..I'm just frustrated as I know how to so this..its hard to find a buddy as I find they always fall short or we dibt connect.. I'm still sleeping a lot and still feel mu sixknesst in me maybe I'll give my body time tilo relax a bit and get better.. Thank u ladies

Yes, good advice. Start small. Maybe find a spark buddy who can start a Streak with you. You can check in and cheer each other on.

Also know that those stressors could be causing your cold. Find ways to manage the stress (yoga, reading, a walk, etc.) and work that into your daily plan too.

Good luck. Whatever you do, don't quit trying!

I feel the same way lately. I think we need to pick a small goal and stick to it. This week mine is to drink 2 liters of water a day. Then next week it will be to do that, plus exercise 3 days. Then the week after will be those things plus staying in my food goals each day. I think we get in too much too soon and it's overwhelping. Small goals are easier to tackle imo

I used to beable to start up spark, eat awesome, drink my water and kill tracking, I really only needed a push to to work out, this time around it seems so far away, everything, I am at my heaviest I have been in years, and I cant do any of this it seems, once I get ok Im gonna do this attitude, somethings screws up emotionally, my mom sick, then I got her ok so Im gonna do this,.. aunt dies, moms backwards, ok im gonna do this, work went sideways, ok im gonna do this.. now i have a cold and dont feel like eating much never mind working out .. seems like I always have an excuse or somehting pop up that just kills my motivation.. any suggestions?
