Tracking in my healthy life journal.
Walking 20 miles a week.
Resistant bands to help tone.
Taking pics of meals and snacks before I eat. It helps with accountability of portion size.
Having an accountability person. It is better not going on this journey alone.

I've been focusing on exercise. I found some great low impact cardio workouts on YouTube and I've been doing one video five times a week. I haven't lost so much as a single pound, but after six weeks of regular exercise I can see that my body shape is really changing.

I'm working hard to set myself up for success.

Been off sugar for 2 months
Tracking all my food
Drinking water
Taking vitamins
Moving every day
Joined a "big girl biking" group and go every Saturday am
Do not get on the scale - use measuring tape when I'm ready to see progress
Cutting out processed carbs (mostly)

Been on it since Jan and it's not anything close to perfect but I feel immensely better!


God is in control!

Right now it is accepting each and every victory...no matter how small. Because I'm restarting AGAIN, the victories are really rather small. I will celebrate each one, from drinking my water to turning down the treat. I have to remember this is a long journey and I just have to stick to it.

I have decided that this IS about ME. I must want to make ME better, healthier, happier...

No Soda in my life... Drinking water, coffee and occasional Tea (unsweetened)

No Sugar

No Starches (potato, pasta, breads...)

Watching my SERVING SIZE!!! I have had to learn that all over again.

Exercise for me is moderate for now... walking, some hiking, a bit of dancing in my living room.
*the newest *exercise* that I have started, just last week... getting up from my desk at work once an hour and taking a little stroll around the room or down the hall* Just a little Boost in my work day!
