I am so excited to have found this team! Unless you are a student or have been one people can not understand how much school takes out of a person. I am a full time grad student. Started my BA at the age of 30 in spring of 2002 and went straight to grad in summer 2006. I am nine months away from my MA I will be 36. I feel honored to be a first generation grad representing for my family and to be be setting a standard/expectation for generations after me (namely my daughter...) It feels good to have gotten this far in honor of all all the women who had to put their dream of education on hold to tend to family, life etc. I am an A student, but that has come with a price. All I do is sit with a book or in front of this dang screen. Now my backside reflects the last six years of sitting, eating, and writing. My motivation? Skipping across that stage for the second time in two years. I have an alarm that sounds every morning and the script reads:
Stay focus: May 10, 2008 8am

I need 45lb gone by then... that is why I am here.

Goals of 2008:

-250 days of moving and grooving w/ my daughter cturently: 43

I remember that I'll NEVER regret going back to school. It's something positive that I'm doing for me, my husband, and our children.

I'm on my way to ONEderland!

Motivation for me is knowing that I am here to live out God's plan. I try to remember not to get caught up or comsumed by my everyday life. Being able to take care of myself first is important so that I can be there for others. Looking forward to outdoing myself everyday is what keeps me going.

FAITH MAKES IT POSSIBLE NOT EASY

When you raise yourself above a servant,
you have just ranked yourself above Savior.

Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for? THAT'S GOD talking to you through the Holy Spirit.
