Ton of Fun handed out awards on December 21, after the Reindeer Run 5K. As you might expect, the award winners didn't look fat. Of course, I only saw the "after" version.

Fleet Feet sends me emails, and I saw this on several of those. I'm not participating, because I'm already at goal and losing 5% more would not be healthy for me. But it could be a useful motivational tool for people who are still in the weight loss phase.

If you go to www.fleetfeetrochester.com, it will take you to everything they have going on. There is a link there for all the information on the event, and online registration!
I know the D&C is also going to get involved, so there should be more info coming out about it.

How do you find out about this, Comeonma? Just google the name?
5% in 12 weeks. I could try it. Sometimes having to take responsibility, be accountable, is the key.
When i lost 20 pounds last year, I was on a plan through the Penfield Racqet club, and had to weigh in. I was really focused because I didn't want to have a week when I hadn't lost at least something.
Thanks for the hint.

Hi everybody! On June 8th, Fleet Feet Sports is challenging Rochester to lose a ton of weight in 12 weeks.
You pay to sign up, go in weekly to weigh in and you can get all your money back in gift cards if you 1) go to 8 weigh in's and 2) lost 5% of your body weight.
They are planning to have walks, runs and other activities to help along the way.
I'm going to use it to try and get myself started to focus again for the summer. All I've got to lose is the weight, I'll use the gift cards to get smaller clothes!!!
Anybody in?
