Walked 4 miles total yesterday at the end of the day. Rested 9 hours last night. Will drink more water today and talked about it. I am actually feeling better and it is getting easier to walk. My dog is also doing much better and more energetic with all of the exercise.

I was born and raised on Southern Calif and been in Tn 25+ years and my Hubby is a native of Tn. There is no Mexican or Chinese food trhat even compares to California because it the "Real Deal"!!!

We are up in Whitehouse alot, My hubby likes to eat Mexican food at the Mexican resteraunt that is in the Kroger shopping center. There food is as close to real Mexican Food as you can get. I am from Calif so there is no comparison but theres comes close. :)

Hi All! I'm so glad I could get started on this today!
R=1 (slept 8 hrs last night)
E=1 (Ran 3 mi and power-walked for 2, burned 550 cal)
S=1 (drank 24 oz of water right after the run
T=1 (Telling you all about it!)

I'm working on a goal to get from 167 to 150 lbs.. Hopefully this challenge helps me get a running start!

Walked the dog for 1.5 miles for 1 hour or so. I also didn't sleep well last night....must be the weather. Red (the dog) and I are both tired now....he is sleeping. I am downing water. I still can't believe someone walked 87 miles in a day. I am tired with one. Will be walking again later a short walk. Keep up the good work everyone.

This sounds like a fun challenge, and similar (though not quite as intense and quite "doable") as the Game On Diet game I played earlier this year. So definitely count me in, and allow me to introduce myself! My name is Kim and I've lived here in middle TN for 9 years. I, too, am from Michigan... yes, a great area to be "from"! I like the idea of walking or jogging from here to there and just may incorporate that into my tracking. Happy to be here and look forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi there, I am Khristina and have been a member of Spark for a few years, I just re-started my Diet/Exercise yesterday because of some blood test results I got from my Dr. My Cholester is 300 and my Blood Sugar level is higher then it should be which means at some point I could become a Diabetic which I DON'T want so im trying to take action now plus I am over weight :(

Anyway I went to the local gym in Springfield Tn were I live and spent about 2 1/2 hours using various machines plus did 1 mile on the treadmill and tried to use the Eliptical and man do my legs hurt :0

I usually do 1 mile a day on my Treadmill or Gazelle Rider at home plus JM Shred dvd's. Im going to the Gym to work on various machines.

I will participate. I usually walk a mile every day with my dog. I sleep about 10 hours a night, and will let you know my progress. So far I have lost about 6 pounds. Good Luck to Dawn walking to Great Lakes. I am from Michigan and it's a great area to be from.
