Awesome job getting back in the game! Be sure to take care of your foot, and stretch stretch stretch some more.

As for lung capacity, I think it just takes time and consistent training to teach your body to metabolize oxygen more efficiently. I'd also love to know if anyone has any good tricks for this.

It's been 3 months since my foot surgery and did W1D1 this morning and I found out that my feet did much better than my lungs! I guess I have to work on increasing my lung capacity. (Any tricks for doing that??) Went for 21 minutes and managed to run a mile. Seems like I have a long way to go, but I'm so glad I was actually able to get started. When I joined this group I thought I was crazy, but now I know that I can do it!!
