I just take a normal multivitamin...I really want to see a nutritionist and naturalist though, I prefer to try things the natural way vs medications.

There are at least 3 different kinds of Chromium. Chromium picolinate has been kicked back and forth as being harmful or okay. Bottom line though, you can OD on Chromium picolinate as traces of it can stay in your cells and do some damage. (http://altmedicine.about.com/od/herbsuppl

It's always important that you follow recommended does even with supplements. With some supplements it may not matter. For example, you could take all the vitamin C you wanted and it more than likely will do no harm as it's water soluble. There are some vitamins that are fat soluble though. Take too much of those and you can do serious damage to your system leading to hospitalization and possibly death (that's a very extreme case by the way).

Recommended levels of is very low compared to cinammon. We're talking micrograms compared to grams. So just be conscious of how much your taking and your body's reaction when supplementing. Or you can always see a doctor (naturopath or regular MD) for supplement assistance.

It depends on the dosage. Your liver has to process everything you put in your body. It is your filtration system (along with your kidneys).

Refuse to be beaten by inanimate objects, inflexible minds, and incompetent practices.

Cinnamon + Chromium

Recently heard of negative effects on the liver due to using this combined supplement.

Thoughts?
