The Artists Way has been a fantastic journey Life is Good.

List five ways you will change as you continue

1. I will be playing my guitar
2. I will be doing art instead of just thinking about it or talking about it
3. My relationship with what Julia Cameron calls God Concept continues to morph and will continue to change.
4. I will go back to my old life-drawing circle once a week and find other ways to become more active in the art community where I live.
5. I will strengthen my body as well as my connection to spirituality and art.

Five ways you intend to nurture yourself in the next six months.
1. Go on regular Artists Dates
2. Do my best to exercise more- take a walk every day and do yoga regularly
3. Enjoy nature on an up-close and personal level DAILY
4, Keep my own counsel and follow the rule of self-containment.
5. Take comfort in my special friends, visit with them more often, smile and laugh.

You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go...

Week 11 Tasks

#5. Five ways I will change as I continue:
I will be more conscious of my thoughts, be more proactive about thinking positively.
I will have more faith in the workings of the Universe.
I will TAKE BETTER CARE OF MYSELF!
I will look for the lesson in the aggravation.
I will trust more what my own inner voice has to say.

#6. Ways I plan to nurture myself in the next six months:
Keeping my artist's dates.
Guarding my time fiercely from extraneous people and projects.
Saying no, often.
Planning ahead, for meals, personal projects, artist's dates, etc.
Buying an easel and more brushes.
Meditating regularly.
Keep exercising/moving!

#8. Mailed encouraging letter to self.

#9. Yes, miracle of miracles, my belief system HAS changed to support my creative expansion!

Week 11 Check In:
1. I only did morning pages 3 days this week, the least amount ever since starting this journey. However, yes, I have absolutely recommended morning pages to many friends because of the wonderful insights you can gain from them!
2. Yes, I did my A.D. And yes, I have have an entire "Artist's Day," which was so much fun that I have scheduled one for every month from now on.
3. A major issue that came up this week was "resistance to changing my schedule." I noticed that I had not be working out because I am having a HELL of a time adjusting to the sun going down at 5:00 p.m., which is the time I would usually start my workout. So I hadn't been exercising, so I really needed to confront myself about changing my workout time to lunch time so I can keep doing it.
