. How many days this week did you do your Morning Pages? How was the experience for you?
Everyday although some days were easier than others. Like this morning I just can't seem to write so I took a time out and am posting here. Usually this means I need to get something off my mind so I will go back to them in a minute.

2. Did you do your artist date this week? What did you do? How did it feel? I went to my studio alone where I could just enjoy some quiet time. I sound a piece I started a long time ago that I just couldn't decide how to fix and it just came to me. I finished the piece except for the border. I will post it as soon as it is finished. After a couple of hours I was ready to enjoy my evening.

3. Did you experience any Synchronicity this week? Yes.

4. Were there any other issues this week that you consider significant for your recovery? Allowing myself more time to play and not really giving a toot about other peoples reactions.

1. How many days this week did you do your Morning Pages? How was the experience for you? I did the least amount of morning pages this week than I have done in a very long time. I think this particular chapter was especially hard for me especially now. I am unemployed and typically a teacher. Everyone is continuing on and I gave notice this week that I am not coming back. **That was a bit hard.

2. Did you do your artist date this week? What did you do? How did it feel? My Artists date was collecting seeds in a wonderful garden. I sat on a bench and drew, a small stream tickled by, an occasional butterfly would arouse my attention. It was quiet. I seem to need more quiet these days. Calm and quiet in solitude seems like a gift.

3. Were there any other issues this week that you consider significant for your recovery? Describe them. I did my last dump run from my basement decluttering Project. I came across things decluttering that I had not seen in years (some things were painful reminders of memories Iā€™d almost managed to bury). It was good to get rid of those things. To put them to rest once and for all.

This came to me this morning:

Be Ground, be crumbled, so wildflowers will come up where you are. You've been stony for too many years. Try something different. Surrender¯ ~Rumi

I had a difficult time with this week's tasks & morning pages (& my ability to stay inspired/positive). I would wake up feeling disappointed instead of looking forward to writing morning pages but did it anyway.

I guess perhaps it could be because monitory abundance is about money (and I'm a substitute teacher with an intermittent income) that it left me feeling suddenly negative. My student loans for myself and my son swinging over my head. I feel like a slave to my student loan debt. I wish I had the luxury of having money.

There is although abundance in my life. I have a house, food on my table, a nice car, two guitars, a plethora of Art Supplies! My job has flexibility which provides me the opportunity to have time to pursue my artistic dreams. I had been a full-time educator (as a special education teacher I was scheduled *glued to meetings, lesson plans & jumping through hoops all hours of the morning into the night).

Such synchronicity has happened since I began The Artists Way. My journey is open to new possibilities. For one day I even taught Middle School Art. I must allow my thinking to change and to visualize having abundance. I am an Artist & am learning many things about myself while wading through this process.
