St. Thomas was great, but we're travelling now - in two years we've been to New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Samoa, Fiji, the Solomon Islands, Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, and Korea. No less than two weeks in a place, no more than six months in a place. We just took the train across Canada, and will visit DH's family in the next few weeks - then fly back to Japan in Sept. LOVING the travelling life!
I clicked on the link, it doesn't go anywhere. Not sure why it isn't working.
And I've had to learn to be organized because I hate when I can't find stuff.
Oh, we didn't set up our stuff for the house sale or price a thing - we just cleared out what we were keeping, and everything else was up for grabs. Seriously. People would bring stuff to us, ask how much, we'd name a price, sometimes they made a counter offer, if it was reasonable we'd say okay, if not we'd tell them no. It was the day after my b'day, and we didn't want to spend my b'day setting up, so we just did it the easy way. We also gave away some stuff to big shoppers, gave them a discount or a free plant or something. Plus our sale was one day only, although a few people called for post sales and we made arrangements if it was convenient.
When we sold our bed, we told the lady she couldn't have it until X date - she was okay with that, especially since I gave her two sets of sheets to go with it.
Though I wasn't taking care of an elderly parent at the time, I'm sure that takes plenty of your focus too!
