Most of my exercise today was 2 hours swimming (not wearing my fitbit for that). I also sit far too much each day so I'll be working on increasing that. I know I will get more in while we are camping. My great nieces and nephews plan on coming out one day so I'm sure they will keep up hopping.

The nice thing about swimming was that I was wore out just walking from the car into the pool, but once in the water, I was actively moving, walking, treading, even squats for a solid 2 hours. If you are lucky to have access to a pool, it is the way to go. Plus all the twisting, jumping, pulling and being a contortionist just to get into my swimsuit. That in itself was a workout.

Marly I tried to do 10,000 every day but I have an office job and seemed like I was always away from my desk (I work at home) so lowered it to 7000 for now. Need to get in a morning walk instead of couch time with my I-Pad

It's emoticon for me to use my Fit Bit for what it was intended for. So My goal is to use it for tracking my exercises not just as a watch. I'm working on reaching the 10,000 steps per day by the end of the year. I've been sedentary too long to think I can do it in two months. It's time for me to be realistic and set small attainable goals until I reach the 10,000 step/mark. After all, Rome wasn't built in a days time!
