Hi again, sorry I joined this a few weeks back but have been busy moving house (still am so I can't post regularly), but I have been working at the challenge.

Mini GW: 62 kg
Final GW: 58 kg

PROGRESS: 4 pounds down, 6 to go.

*sigh*

I had a bad week health-wise. My sis was in town (from Hong Kong!!! Don't see her often) and we splurged. We ate out 3 times this week... I usually cook every night at home.

I also didn't work out. :( I could have done 15 minutes of DDR or something, but I didn't. No excuse for it.

But today.... I did 20 minutes of DDR (only burned 140 calories, though... weird. That's usually a high calorie burner.). Also, did a Spark People upper body workout. :)

Feeling good. And I still think 120 is do-able by Labor Day. We have 5 weeks! I need to get rid of 2 lbs. a week. It'll be hard, but I think I can.

What really sucks about this weeks weigh in is that its about that TOM so If I keep the weight right this minute that I have this morning then I will only have lost 1 pound this month. That stinks. We shall see tomorrow morning. Once again I always weigh more after hubby takes a day off LOL

This was day 3 for cardio and strength! I feel like the weight is coming off faster this time...probably since it wasn't on there as long! I feel better through the middle after some abs workout yesterday. :)

Oh its not his fault its mine. I realize that its mine and not his. Hes not forcing me to eat but I buy fresh veggies when he gets paid (every other week) and they last a week so the next week Im eating frozen and those are gone by the time he gets paid again. I just have to stock up a little better. I know part of the problem, this happens every month 2 weeks before I start AGAIN and I eat more then usual.

Yes for some reason my progress does seem better on mondays. This morning I was back to 153. I swear on days that Travis is home I eat more. I have done that for the last 2 weeks. Hoping to get that under control again.

Sarah - Good luck! Keep at it - every little bit helps! Does anyone have any ideas how to conquer fatigue? It is a problem for me, too, and the weight loss and eating right doesn't seem to be helping! Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Okay... ladies... I'm back. Gonna give this another go.

I have this one problem: severe fatigue at times. The doctor says all my labs are normal, but I have been incredibly tired, needing naps a lot and sleeping long at night, too. (But also sometimes waking up in the middle of the night and unable to go back to sleep!)

So, I am going to try to get back to using the Boot Camp videos and doing 30 min. cardio a day. I feel like this will be do-able, not too much to tackle at this point.

I'll need to start tracking calories again. I gained back 4 pounds, and just saw 130 on the scale again. Ugh... it's not just the number, but I'm getting chunkier through the middle... waistlines are getting tight.

So... today, I was 130.2

Debbie, one thing about spark people is that you are NEVER alone. We all have days when we just feel like crying and giving up. Guess what? WE CAN'T. Calling it quits is definitely not an option. It's time for you to really think about what you need to make changes to during your daily routine. Maybe, add 200 calories to your daily food intake every other day. It's time to trick your body and get it moving again. I also know, interval training also helps to get you past a plateau.

Yes, D: I tried not to be totally negative in my post awhile ago by listing some of the inches I have lost since January. I have lost some inches 2 in waist, 1 inch in hips, 1.5 inches in the arms.

I just feel like such a failure today! I am actually crying right now, I can't help it. I keep telling myself I am gaining muscle and have been telling myself that since January! But if that was the case I would look like Arnold Schwarzenegger my now. I sometimes feel like I am the only one with sparkpeople that has had no success in weight loss, everyone else seems to loose overall. I guess I am just emotional today and need to get a grip. I am sorry I am such a downer. emoticon

Debbie have you readjusted your fitness minutes, which could change your calorie intake range? Your body is gaining muscle, which weighs more than fat. You will notice, if you measure you'll start to lose inches. Do you measure? It's a great form of motivation when you know your doing everything right. STAY STRONG and give your running some time to kick in. YOU CAN DO THIS! emoticon

OK, Everyone put their fingers in their ears! AAAAAAGH!!! I am up again! 163.5 this morning. I can't believe it. I have ran about everyday this week to the point of about passing out. Played walley ball 180 minutes Wednesday. Haven't been eating unhealthy and still gained. I told you all I was going to scream if I didn't start loosing some weight after introducing running in my life; so there I got that over with! Now so I wouldn't run out and get that whole cheesecake I went and looked at my measurements and at least something is going down. Lost 2 inches in Waist, 1 inch in hips, 1.5 in arms. There I have vented now I can get on with my life.
