okay another paul wesley movie i watched is full count this one i really liked him in its about a group of five friends who live in a small town where they shoot the breeze talk about their dreams and generally make plans for their lives. Its such a small town that they know all the cops by name anyway they play a basketball game against the cops and beat them thereby winning $250.00 dollars off them they go out to celebrate get trashed on their way home they run into the Cop and he wants his money back he proceeds to put them throught a number of test and then he demands his money back which they cough up what they had left and hands it over he lets them leave after he has broken one of the friends fingers but they stop from getting to a full fight because one of the guys has a full scholarship which they dont want to mess up the next day one of them is killed in a freak accident but he left some things for them to do and straightten out movie ensues this had in a lot of stars also Jason Ritter yes son of John Ritter, Paul Wesley, Billy Baldwin,Michael Beach, very good better than my description but rent and see .

Ok on another of my stuff to watch on Espn they have a new series called 30 for 30 The first was on Wayne Gretzsky the great one in Hockey it was so good very informative about him being traded from his hometown team to the La team and his weeding it looked like the princess Diana wedding thats how big it was it was directed by Peter Berg he is also an actor sometimes but he loves to direct he did a very good job. . ...

ok 1 of my secret passion is comic book reading and they have made a movie for the Green Lantern so of course i had to watch it it was good so good that its up for some awards at the scream awards on spiketv.com but back to the movie It all started when the ring chose its next wearer when the current one died and it follows his adventure to save the fellowship and root out and defeat the evil villian normal comic book stuff but so fun done like a normal comic cartoon not real people well done well shoot just like how i like my heroes to be portrayed.

contuning my update about pauls wesley movie

Watched Killer movie is about a film crew making a movie out of town when they get there they start dropping like flys its told like a documentary and it more of a like a comedy of errors or cliche scare movies which is not what they went to film anyway it stars a whole lot of actors that we are now seeing regularly on our television: Leighton Meister- gossip girl, Kaley cuoco--big bang theory, Nestor carnbonelli, paul wesley, J C Chasez-- boy bander and the reporter from extra did a cameo one of the girls dont know her name just her face sorry it was scarey kind of funny it got serious sometime its an ok movie nothing shattering or new.

Then there was Peaceful Warrior ok this also starred paul wesley this was a about a gymnast who was mentored after an accident that happened it was almost like he dreamed up the stuff that was going to happen then he meets a bearded wiseman who starts to teach him how to deal with himself because he cant sleep at night a lot of thinking so but paul was only in for a short time so hey .

I recently watched the extended versions of the two grindhouse movies that Quetin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez made, Death Proof and Planet Terror. I didn't get to see these movies in their truncated forms, but am wondering if Death Proof would have better if it was shorter. The extended was 1 hr 53 min. I liked Planet Terror better than Death Proof. The car scenes in Death Proof were pretty good however, Tarantino movies are hit and miss with me and the extended version was way to talky.. it was very heavy on stupid dialogue. Planet Terror was more fun and the special effects for Rose McGowan's leg were pretty seamless. I rented them through Netflix and gave Planet Terror 4 stars and Death Proof only two.

ok watched fast and the furious finally oh my god it was good the screen writer turned in a good script and the driving scenes were also beautifully done ok finally they let the actors have some range and the cars were not just the star. i have been watching bloodtie its good its a vampire tales i am there right now, the girl is going blind so the vamp cant glamour her like they always do. She is kickass and fearless in this series i like this girl she has two men looking for her affection. Same premise in most vampire/human triangle, They are with her to a point but henry the vamp is not waiting and pining he is out and about getting his the human man is pining and hoping that he will be the one she turns to in time its all over the tv right now the premise that is but what can i say i like this series oh she also takes on and solve cases which sometimes involve other supernatutrals. And she has been marked by the devil go girl.

ok i have been on a catch up to an actor bend my actor to catch up to right now has been Paul Wesley
So i rented cloud 9 which is a comedy and Elsewhere which is a movie he did with anna kendrick from twilight its a murder/scare. cloud9 was funny he was a stoner jock and it also starred dl hugely and Burt Reynolds its a cute little movie. Elsewhere was good also it was scarey without being too intense for me it was fine he was not the lead here but he did a fine showing he was a glue sniffer hence a kind of stoner dude also a bully all in all they were passable. Oh elsewhere was an independent i guess he has been doing a lot of them since Everwood he did do a guess spot on Army Wives also.

Knowing - a different, pretty well done movie about the end of our world. A few points felt like they were about to shift over to a slasher movie, the music and incredible suspense, but they don't, so don't wonder why you're watching it, like I did. ;)

also watched Inkheart. WAAY better than I was expecting. A nice quest movie about a good family. Two thumbs up.

My son's moved home for awhile and has turned me onto hulu.com.

We've been watching Japanese anime and the series I've gotten attached to is Shogen Jump's Bleach. A number of these series on hulu.com always have a lot of Harry Potter type themes to them which I love.

Bleach is about several high school students who receive special powers that help fight against hollows, entities that kill and steal people souls. The central character is Ichigo who became a Soul Society substitute when he rescues a Soul Society warrior, Rukia. Rukia winds up transferring some of her powers to Ichigo to help him survive a hollow's attack in repayment for his help.

But much of the series focuses on attacks on the Soul Society by beings that the Soul Society tried to wipe out ages before. It's an interesting thought on how things tends to come back no matter how "noble" the intention.

things that make me go hmmm.

terri, I don't have cable anymore so I couldn't have watched Hawthorne if I'd wanted to ... but I didn't hold out much hope to begin with considering the visual play on words with HawthoRNe....

Also, after you watch PS I Love You a few more times you stop crying every single time and truly start to appreciate the nuance humor that is floating in it as well.

I thought about watching it on Netflix because I don't get Showtime. I'll have to see if they have other episodes besides the series premiere!!

I streamed "The Incredible Journey of the Butterflies" on the PBS Nova website!!! How incredibly beautiful it was to watch!!! And sad because of the deforestation and its effects on butterfly population!

Oh Truth about Cats & Dogs is one of my favorites.

I've recently been watching The Sound of Music a lot. That film just makes me happy.

Did anyone watch Glee - last week after American Idol? It's my new favorite show - can't wait for fall when it will be on.

I also enjoyed The Wackness & 17 again.

so i finished exams on saturday morning and therefore my weekend was fullllll of movies.
i rented:
-elizabeth the golden age: pretty good in comparison to the first...but overall still sort of blah...except for the costumes...those are great.

-the wackness: set in nyc in 1994, luke graduates high school and learns a lot about life through his experiences with a number of people. ben kingsley is pretty funny and it was overall enjoyable

-marley & me: so cute and adorable...the only thing that bothered me is that they never aged jennifer aniston or owen wilson...after roughly 12 years, they still looked the exact same.

-rocknrolla: not as good as i expected from guy ritchie, but it still had his flair for gangsters and coincidence.

thennnn i went to the show and saw:
-adventureland: this is advertised as a comedy, but it's really more of a drama than anything. i didn't like it as much as i expected i would, but that's probably because i was expecting something different.

-17 again: i love zac efron and this movie didn't disappoint for what it was. it was a good story although it feels like it's been done before [think back to the future meets it's a wonderful life] but some really cute/funny parts.

Wow, it's been awhile let's see since I posted last I had rented "Henry Poole is Here" which was a good movie, it was nothing elaborate but had a good message. "Milk" which I found to be a excellent movie. And Sean Penn definitely deserved the Oscar for that performance.

Yesterday, I went to the Movie theatre and watched "He's Just Not Into You". Well I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. So I would definitely say Good and enlightening.

i watched Charlie Wilson's War last night. Pretty good. I was surprised that, somehow, I had no idea Russia had full-out invaded Afghanistan in the not too distant past. I won't get into the politics that subsequently went on in my head, but suffice it to say the movie was good. It has a nudity/drug warning in the rating, but that is all in the first 10-20 minutes and then done.

I've also been hooked on Catch and Release. I watched it when it first came out and have been wanting ot see it again, so I finally rented it ... loved it ... all over again.

I recently watch Superman III. I don't think I've seen this since the late 80s and forgot how chessy it could been especially the beginning.

I just saw the movie: "One Week" it was not a big flashy film but a movie with lots of meaning and heart. I enjoyed it,since I left the film I have been thinking over the question of the film. "What would you do if you knew you only had one week to live?"

I saw Death Sentence with Kevin Bacon yesterday. It's about a father who sees his son getting murdered. When it turns out they can't send the murderer to jail for life, he decides to take revenge himself. I've always liked Kevin Bacon, since he is good a playing both the good and the bad characters. No need to say, that I enjoyed this movie.

I thought she was asking me about Taken which I commented on a couple of posts ago..

Last night, I watched Tropic Thunder finally. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Ben Stiller's character was the only one that annoyed me, but only because I saw so many of his previous characters in his character portrayal.
