clean dead plants out of garden; no need to be alarmed, I just pulled out some flowers that bloom once and die. Filled up an entire barrel with those plants and weeds, spent about 2 hours doing it. 'Course my Zipper won't register much emoticon

emoticon Did you all know that 5K is only 3.1 miles, and a 10K, is of course 6.2 miles? I'm aiming for 5 K daily during my retirement. Got in 2.67 miles today, and when the weather warms up a bit (or the wind abates) I'll be able to do more. Why not?? emoticon

Thx Terrie! Ours in the basement also, but with my 3 yr old daughter n lil one, its hard to get a chance to get down there! (daughter loves to pick him up constantly, so i cant leave them unattended.)

I was able to get thru half of the laundry tho! just about 4 loads left that will get done tomorrow since the kids will be at daycare! woohoo!!!

Finish cleaning up the office area in our basement. The desk is piled high with papers I once thought were important, but have been there so long they probably belong in the trash. It's just a matter of sorting through everything just in case there is something important in that mess.

weigh in after my 2 week vacation and terrible gain, after having given myself one week to try to recover from vacation. The total gain was about 5-6 pounds and I have dropped 3.5 of that, so I'm moving back in the right direction.

Today I will sit down and pay bills. I usually pay all my bills online, but there are a couple I have to walk out to the mailbox. I will also order my son's cap and gown for graduation and announcements. We've been going back and forth over which announcements or order and nothing has been decided. I'm just going to take the bull by the horns and get it done!

Today I will be VERY busy...my winter vacation starts tomorrow, so that means do laundry, pay bills, packing, etc, etc, etc....

I will be offline for awhile, but will still be working hard and making good choices.

Today I will follow my daily menu to a tee. I've already logged today's food on the nutrition tracker and have all my meals planned out. I will do 45 minutes of aerobics and 15 minutes of balance games on the Wii and do the Big Burn DVD with Leslie Sansone.

When the exercise is done I'm going to tackle two household chores ... the laundry and clearing out two boxes of "stuff" that have been sitting in the garage for months, waiting to be gone through. If I can't find a place for an item in the house it's going in the trash bin.

Today I will make only healthy food choices. I will get in 30 minutes on the treadmill before my husband comes home from Bismarck and I will cut my "To Do" list in half (meaning that I will Do half of the things on the list).

It's good that you kept your commitment to yourself, even if you had to do it a day late. Sometimes appointments have to get moved around and having time with family and friends is important too.

I totally enjoyed my "Do Me Day" today. Hubby was impressed with how I looked when he got home from work today, and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with the smell of dinner rather than the question, "Any idea what you want for dinner?". I'm still eating Nutrisystem foods, and am never quite sure what to fix for the rest of the family for dinner. Today I just took it upon myself to decide what they wanted and made it; and they appreciated it.

Today I made up for my "I will" from yesterday. We had company yesterday so didn't get to do my 30 minutes treadmill....today I did 45 minutes treadmill and did 30 minutes with arm weights. I did finish my book late last night after the Oscars....yeah me time!

Terrie, that was an awesome choice for your day today. A personal victory for self care. I did mine last Friday when I took off work to go get my hair cut and colored. Once again ....yeah me time.

Today I will be extra nice to myself. I'm going to have a "Do Me Day". After my exercise instead of a quick shower I'm going to have a nice, relaxing bubble bath. While I'm relaxing in the tub my hair will be being deep conditioned and my face will be getting a deep cleansing via a facial mask. I'm going to take a little extra time with my hair and put on makeup, which I haven't been doing regularly since I quit my job in December. By the time the family gets home dinner will be in the works and I'll be relaxing with the book that's been sitting untouched on the end table next to my chair.

Great topic, Sara ... thank you for starting it. It's 8:30 and I'm winding down for the day, so it's too late to come up with a "Today I Will ..." plan for Sunday, but I'm going to come here first thing tomorrow morning and make a written declaration of a goal for tomorrow.

Good idea Sara.

Today I will go get my 30 min of treadmill and crunch done before I hit the showers. I will think about what I am going to cook for the week to see if that helps me budget my calories better.

read my "OA passages" and really think about them. Today I will stop feeling sorry for myself that I can't "eat like regular" people. I gained this weight, I have to eat less and exercise more. I will remember I'm embarking on a healthy eating life style!!

I'm starting this topic (which I borrowed from another team I am on)to get this group motivated to put in writing and share with the rest of the team some sort of good choice that they plan to do with their day. And so here I go......

Today I will do at least 30 minutes on the treadmill and give myself at least 30 minutes of time to myself to finish the book I am reading. Today I will also smile at myself in the mirror for what I am doing for myself.
