I'm told I'm very young looking (I'm 46). While part of this is probably genetics, I also have not used soap on my face since I was 18 years old, I've never smoked, and I don't drink to excess. There are a lot of things I've done wrong, like over-eating, but facial skin care is not one of them. I use a mild cleaser, followed by a gentle toner to restore the skin's ph balance, and then a light moisturizer. All hypo-allergenic. I wish I'd paid the same attention to the skin on my hands and neck, because that is what will give away my age before my face does!

Good article. But I still plan to have cosmetic surgery when I can afford it. Some things just need help "moving back up."
Taking a bath with some kind of bath salts weekly and using lotion daily (as well as sunscreen) is great for skin and helps to prevent wrinkles.
Yep. All good stuff my mom has been telling me since I was a kid. Consequently people tend to be shocked when they learn I'm 40.
That's useful stuff. It wasn't new for me but it's good for me to be reminded of these things and those who never knew this to learn. Especially having some numbers and test to back it up helps.
