strikes me this could be an awesome action plan for someone who doesn't have the time to make their own plan Report
This article assumes you went off the track. What if you DIDN'T and you are still gaining weight? I'm on the program, and active. A slow weight gain is really getting me down! Report
I needed to read this today to get myself back on track. Report
This article is so true. I recently began again. So far I've lost 5 pounds in 4 weeks, but first I had to get that motivation back. I weigh every 2 weeks, because I've found weighing too much is depressing. It is like watching a pot of water heat up and boil...exasperating. Therefore, with my husband cheering me on and me giving myself kudos, I hope to be 20 pounds lighter before the end of this year. I can do it! Report

Great article! Report
This is a perfect article. Now I don't feel so bad about regaining and can relax with another go. Thanks so much for the encouragement. Report
This so mirrors all the decisions I made at the start of this current, and last, weight loss journey. I no longer worry about gaining because it’s a lifestyle not a diet. Report
I'm back on here after gaining back 30lbs that I lost 7-8 years ago. This time I'm totally out of my routine and comfort zone, so small steps for sure. And I'm still 30lbs less than my highest weight Report
I gained back all I had lost since the last time I started SP but that is still 25 lbs. less than at my highest weight. I gained back the 20-25 lbs quickly but then have stayed at this weight for close to a year. Time to start again. Report
There's nothing to be gained by wallowing the past. If you could change it, it would be worth doing. You cannot, so stop it. Move on. Report

Very good article. I do wish SparkPeople didn't have pictures of food in the sidebar along the right side. It's so hard to look at pictures of fudge and really good food that I swear I could smell. Report
