What Does 5 Servings of Freggies Look Like?

We hear all the time that it's important to eat five servings of fruits and veggies per day in order to meet our daily nutrient needs, but that concept might seem a little abstract when you try to think about how much food that actually looks like. Five servings might seem like a lot of roughage to handle, but when you lay it all out, it's really not all that much; realistically, you can probably cover most of those servings with a large salad at lunchtime! To give you more perspective on what a day's worth of fruits and veggies looks like, check out the graphic below—and don't forget to share with your friends and "Pin" it for future reference!

That makes it so easy. It means the 40 baby carrots that come with some meals are 4 servings. No wonder it is too much for one meal when I also have a cup of fruit. Report
