I am doing the "10 minute challenge" to build my consistency. I'm 62 and out of shape and it is going to take a while to build up.

I usually go for a walk or bike for about 30-40 minutes x 3-4 a week but now I've decided to add 10 minutes in every day so that I always go at least 10 minutes every day. I've done this for about 3 weeks and I feel it makes a difference. When I take these 10 minutes before I go to work I've noticed I have more energy the whole day and have better mood.

This is true. If you do 10 min. everyday, you will see a difference. Trust me, I know. I added minutes on after a while until I got to a comfortable spot and you will too.

10 minutes ten minutes more than if you did nothing and even if broken up into ten minute segments you still get the benefits of a longer session.

This is a good way to start. Work yourself up gradually until you reach what you think is a good limit for you.
