I know I’m not imagining things; when I first started getting flu shots, you could go to a drive through day in a mall parking lot. It amazes me that no one is offering that.

Good got you, repurposing a surgical gown. I’ll bet you washed everything as soon as you got home. While many people are loosening up on safety, I’m not one of them. I’ve begun adding a face shield over my three layer masks when I have to go somewhere. I have a flu shot scheduled for tomorrow morning, and I’ll wear both. Wouldn’t you think there’d be drive through flu shot dates? You can do drive through Covid testing but not flu shots. It seems more sensible to me to not have high risk people go inside for flu shots. I had a nice chat with a school bus driver in the cat food aisle this morning. That job would scare me to pieces. She said the middle schoolers are the worst, no surprise there. Have a great day!

Our thrift shops are open too, but I haven’t felt safe going anywhere unnecessary. Better safe than thrifty? My grandma wouldn’t like that!

Oh my, angora is so soft. I met a woman at a craft fair last year who weaves from her dogs’ hair. She had her two big white dogs with her. I really miss thrift shops and fall craft fairs. I wonder if anyone around here will try an online craft fair? I did see an article about a craft co-op recently.

Lol, I know what you mean! I appreciate social contacts however they happen these days. Love the belt loop boa. 🐍 I grew up with dogs, a turtle, and a hamster. My girls had hamsters, a little mouse who nestled in daughter’s pocket, hermit crabs, and a number of cats. We had an escape artist hamster. On one of his excursions, he got out, jumped, and landed in a waste basket, didn’t get very far that time. We could write a book about one of the cats who was both dumb and clumsy. He would actually wear a leash. On the occasions when he escaped the house, we could go out on the porch holding his leash, and he would come to us so he could go for a walk. Silly cat! I’m grateful for the current company, my little old one and the two younger and much larger cats
