My issues with being overweight started when I was around 8 years old. I never learned what portion control was or how to alleviate stress with something other than food. 5 years ago I finally decided to face the inevitable: I am addicted to food. Since then I have struggled with a 50 pound weight loss, only to gain 40 of it back. BUT - I must have learned something along the way - because I DIDN'T gain it all back and I've STOPPED myself before the addiction controlled my life again. Furthermore, I am proud to say that my amazing husband wants to walk with me on this journey! We will be partners on this crazy "lifestyle change"...and I am truly excited! Here's to an AMAZING 2015!!!

Dislikes: disrespectful people, those who keep their blinkers on forever, people who do not understand that being addicted to food is a real thing!
