Introduction Text In September of 2010, while trying to find a calorie counter for food I was manually tracking in a spreadsheet I found and joined Spark People (thank goodness - the manual spreadsheet I was keep track on was a lot of work!). I am working on a better me - I repeat my mantra of "I accept myself" throughout the day. I do everyday what I can, and understand I do not have to be perfect to do a good job and be a great friend, wife and person. In September 2011 I had gastric bypass surgery. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. This tool has given me a new life and I am so proud of myself and the weight I have lost to date.

1. Live a long, happy life without letting my weight determine what I can or cannot do. 2. Grow old with my husband and enjoy life with him to it's fullest. 3. Scuba Diving is my passion - I want to ensure I am at a healthy weight to continue my love of diving.

1. Following my dietitian's recommendations for protein and calorie intake. 2. Get at least 60 g of protein per day 3. Intake at least 60 oz of water per day.

I have a large lovable English Mastiff named Corey and a wonderful husband - Andy. I adore both of them! My favorite activities are: *Traveling - I have been to China, France, Spain, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama Canal, Canada & many islands in the Caribbean * Scuba diving * Art-collecting & creating * Reading - I LOVE my Kindle!
