My whole life I've had a struggle with my weight. I started gaining weight at a very early age, and haven't been able to get the weight off since.

I lived in Russia for one year (2006-2007), where I maintained a very active lifestyle. While living there I managed to lose about 40-50 pounds. Since then I have gained about 65 pounds back.

After going back home from Russia I discovered that I have fibromyalgia. Some days are difficult for me... and some days I wonder how I am going to even make it through. But I'm not going to let it stop me.

In 2007 I was married to the man of my dreams! We've been working and travelling ever since. We've been to Mexico, Belize, Honduras, Ecuador and China.

A couple years ago, we spent the year teaching in China. It was definitely interesting and we learned a lot. Now we are back in the States and I am trying to get back into the groove of the American lifestyle. I'm not going to lie...it's been very hard.

Our culture is very food oriented and it makes it hard to keep on track.

This leaves me frustrated.

I'm tired of struggling.

I'm going to work hard...and take this journey to achieve my goals.

I know I can do it!

My Goals:
My goal weight is 120 lbs.

My goals for exercise currently:
-Exercise 3x's a week (walk at least 1 mile).
-Be able to walk 13.1 miles in one day by February 2013.
-To workout my upper body (usually I neglect this part of my body!)

My goals for eating healthy are:
-Eat more veggies every day.
-Not eat processed food.
-To eventually have a whole food lifestyle!
-Enjoy smoothies when I can!

I'm not sure what size clothing I will fit into at 120 lbs, but I really would like to wear a medium shirt and a size 7 pants.


My Program:
I haven't figured out a program yet....but I am working on it!

    I don't look at my spark page often and I just now noticed the note you left on it in September. Sorry for taking so long to write back! I have been back in the US about a year now, though I hope to return to China in the future (distant future). It has been alright, though I miss China terribly. I have had a hard time finding work, so I am working on a teaching certificate hoping that will make it easier to find work whenever I return to the states. How about you? How are you doing? Are you still in the US?
