    As important as it is to get your daily 6-8 glasses of water daily, I also wanted to remind you that it is equally important to take a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement as well.

    This will insure that you are getting the proper amount of nutrients daily that your body will need while losing weight.

    Sleep is another important issue that some of us ignore when we are trying to lose weight and get healthy. We fail to get enough shut eye we are actually hurting our attempt to lose weight. It is very important to make sure that you are getting enough sleep, at least 7-8 hours a night to ensure weight loss. When we don't get enough sleep we often feel sluggish, slow and our metabolism slows down.

    This can and often does cause us to start to abuse caffeine drinks, like high energy drinks and large amounts of coffee. Drinking a limited amount of coffee, can actually be beneficial for some according to several areas of studies. Where as the high energy drinks have often been abused and have a reverse effect and do the body damage.

    All in all it is best to visit your doctor regularly and see where your body stands on vitamins, sleep and the effects of caffeine.

    Remember to stay well, keep tracking and get the heart elevated with some form of cardio a couple of times a week.

    Also keep the 3 F's in mind this weekend: Fitness, Faith, Follow Your Plan....

    Hey how's it going? Just giving a pep talk today. Sometimes we all have a day that just doesn't seem to be going right. If that seems to be happening to you. Listen up...okay. I love you and I am here.

    Try to track what you eat and that means everything. Even the stuff we are not supposed to eat. This helps us to be honest with ourselves, once we see it in writing.

    You can do this, you are not the only that slips. We ALL do it. We just have to get right back on track with the very next meal or snack. We can not allow our thinking to derail the whole day and start eating uncontrollably. When we do this, we let our emotions take over and think "oh, well I might as well just give up". This is not true.

    Don't give in to this type of thinking. Instead try "Okay, I slipped. But, I am getting back on track right now." Try by sipping on a glass of water with a twist of lemon and writing in your food journal and making a game plan for the rest of the day. But do not throw out the rest of the day or week over one slip up.

    If you still have the problem food in the house, throw it out. Trust me, no one is going to miss it. Soak it in water, it is better to waste it, than to have it around your waist. Right?

    I know I do not let you know often enough, but I really do appreciate your friendship, your goodies, you comments and your encouragement. SOme days I feel so discouraged, then I go to my SP page and see you have left me support and I feel determined again. Thank you so much for always being there.
