I am determined to make healthier lifestyle choices and be comfortable in my clothes and happy with the way I look in them. I started to exercise in May 2008, but the scale just wasn't moving. In July, I started tracking what I eat and realized why - I am eating way more than I thought I was! This is a great way to be aware of what I am putting into my body and a tangible way to meet my goals!

10/12/08 - - Thought I should update my intro a little bit, since I've been on SP for almost 3 months now. I've lost a total of 13.5 pounds (I weighed 161 on 7/7 and didn't join until 7/23 @ 158) and I really feel great! My clothes are pretty much all falling off of me and I think it's time to break down and go buy a few new things. I have learned so much during the past 3 months. I can't believe how my diet has changed - I'm eating broccoli cheese soup (a la Hungry Girl!) and fresh fruit and very rarely drink pop. I pretty much never eat fast food - except on pay days, the girls at work and I eat whatever we want on the 15th and 30th. I am mindful of what I eat and what kinds of food I keep in my house and I'm still surprised sometimes by the choices I make now. It feels really good to know that I can do this!

My Program:
I have stopped eating fast food (except on payday - so, twice a month I allow myself a french fry fix!), started drinking more water, added exercise at least 4 days a week and I've started keeping track of what I eat and how much I eat to help me stay on target!

    Thank you so much for the flowers!!!! You have no idea how much I need them! I need you back at the office, little spark buddy!!! I've gained back 10 of the 52 lbs I lost. I'm sooo disappointed in myself!!!! But, I'm determined to get back on track. Daniel comes home in 6 weeks. I don't want to be fatter when he gets home!!!!!

    I just got off the treadmill. I walked for 45 minutes. It's a start...
