    It’s cold outside, but Spring is coming! Are you ready to join a Challenge? The Biggest Loser Challenge is looking for members for it’s next Challenge starting the first week of March. The challenge consists of 11 Teams, that participate in 10 weeks of Nutritional and Fitness Challenges. These challenges can be modified to fit individual needs, allowing members of all abilities and dietary needs to participate.

    Here are some of the members comments written on a Survey Monkey poll:

    “The ITCs help me find new ways to add healthy choices to my life. “
    “I like the variety, novelty, and ingenuity of the weekly challenges. They push us out of our comfort zone. And get us to try something new. “

    “Participating in the challenges helps me stay on track better and I enjoy a little friendly competition. I also enjoy working on common goals with other members.”

    I’m here to say I’m sorry that man said that to you. This happened to me once. I was 18 I had moved away from home several states away, I graduated when I was 17. I had a baby who was about 3 weeks old. We were at McDonald’s and a man asked ‘is that your only one or are you’...and he pointed to my stomach to ask if I was pregnant. Uhg. I weighed about 178. I even remembered what I ordered...a grilled chicken sandwich. This was 24 years ago. I gave my sandwich to my husband and said I wasn’t hungry but didn’t tell him why. After this I got into the best shape of my life. I worked hard. I didn’t like what he said, but I figured I could sink or swim and I chose to swim. Don’t let this man define your outcome in a negative way. You’ve lost almost 5 pounds already, don’t let it go...keep moving forward.

    If you want/need a little push...consider joining us for an 8 week challenge.

    Why not join the X-WEIGHTED CHALLENGE? We're all ages, all fitness levels, all striving to live a healthier life. There is always something to learn from each other. These teams are also a great source of motivation! We can become healthier by working together and making new friends as we go. We compete in weekly nutrition and fitness challenges. It is similar to the Biggest Loser team. There are 3 teams that compete within the X-Weighted team. We do ATC (All Teams Challenge) various challenges (nutrition, fitness etc.) The main requirement is to post your weight weekly. The ATC challenges and/if individual teams have challenges are optional (however, very beneficial). If you have any questions, please let me know.
