One step at a time.... Joy can bring a smile, but sometimes a smile can bring joy... Healthy and happy..that's the goal. That was the extent of my original comment here on my Spark Page. I've been away from Spark People for awhile, but I need to get back on track, again! And again I am starting the 5% challenge. 2019 was a huge year for me. I made headway on my finances and completely changed my work situation. One thing I wasn’t as successful with was my weight. I have big hopes for this year to get "healthier" in terms of my eating and exercise and just enjoy life. The time for me is now.

My Goals:
My goal is to feel healthy. I need to lose some weight. I need to get back on track with just eating better and exercising more and generally feeling happy.

I want to be around to have fun with my grandkids as they grow up.

My Program:
1. Maintain a positive attitude
2. Exercise regularly
3. Maintain the habit of eating healthy.

Personal Information:
My name is Janet. I live near Springfield, Missouri. I have two daughters and 6 grandkids with the oldest being 10 years old. WOW. They are my motivation to be healthy.

Other Information:
I believe in the power of art and the beauty of nature. I love animals and I think they are terrific stress relievers. I have 2 dogs,5 cats, a fish tank plus a pond with fish, and 1 turtle. Yes, I live in a zoo...or so my husband tells me. I also believe we have the power to create our own happiness.

    Another 5% challenge is ending and I hope you reached your goals. Remember about the in-between challenge before the Spring 5% Challenge starts. It is a good way to stay on track and maybe even lose another pound or two.
