I started using spark in 2011 even though I signed up in 2010. I began at 197 lbs. I also faced a meniscus tear in a knee that was repaired successfully. This SCARED me into putting my health first. I was terrified of immobility.
I reached 140 lb. goal by my weigh in on January 31st/
LATEST UPDATE: I reached my goal weight of 135 lbs. by my 60th milestone. (August 21, 2016.)

Since then I am in maintenance mode.(55 pounds kept off, still working on getting the last 10 which was a gain this year gone.) Keeping my MOVEMENT consistent, challenging myself to reach FURTHER outside of my comfort zone, & be aware of the food choices & portions I eat are a combined part of my healthy living EVERY day...Living, laughing & LOVING LIFE is the BEST benefit this journey has given me. Reach for your DREAMS...they are attainable!!!!

short term...using NSV's, food & fitness tracking, no eating after dinner & staying within my calorie amount of 1650 a day
daily form of movement 10 min.+/day, 10,000 steps

I am tracking my nutrition, nutrients, & exercises.

I am a VON fitness leader which helps keep me active leading high mobility sessions with seniors.

My motto of LISTEN to YOUR BODY is the main focus of my program. It is a MIND/BODY connection.

    How has it gone adding calories back into your diet? When I lost weight through Weight Watchers, 34 years ago, I never got to take even a slice of bread back without gaining weight. That was most discouraging - but living with WW program for the last 19 years has helped me keep my weight relatively under control despite having a real disability and being unable to exercise. So I'm very curious how you are doing these days. Hope to see your reply in a blog so we can all hear your progress. Mai
