This is my dog, Sammy. He passed away on July 29, 2013. He was blind, deaf, and my heart.

Hey, BEATLETOT! What a coincidence! I actually sat down yesterday afternoon to start a letter to you! I'll try to finish it up soon, but might wait til after I get yours so I can respond. I'm looking forward to that. Hope all is well over there. These are challenging times! Fight on, my dear!

"I didn't know that male guinea pigs fight! Do female guinea pigs do the same thing? I knew that they like to have companions of the opposite sex, but can you keep more than two together? If you have more than two, must only one be male and the rest female?"

Yes, basically you can have one male and one or more females. That's why often (here in my country anyway) it is much easier to come by a male animal. In rare cases two males can be place in one cage, for example an adult with a male baby but even then in the long run they can start fighting.

Hi! Thank you so much for the comments on my blog!
I should say that I did not adopt Sichu, he found a home with someone else. Two male guinea pigs, even when they are brothers, tend to end up fighting with one another. I got Robin a female friend, named Demi, she's white with brown spots! I added a pic of her to my blog now.
