Welcome to my Spark page. I am 64 years old and a retired speciaI education teacher (non categorical preschool).
My husband and I have a 4 year old rescue beagle named Buster. He is a bundle of energy and makes us laugh. He has eerily similar traits that we saw in our last 2 rescue beagles. He's very sweet and lots of fun for us.
Our daughter, husband and her 3 children (my adorable grandchildren) live about 25 minutes from us. They also have an old rescue beagle. I am so fortunate to see them a lot. They are my sunshine!!
Our son is married to a great woman. They have his rescue beagle (see a pattern in our family?) and her two cats. They live about 25 minutes from us also (in the opposite direction!)
I joined Spark in December 2009 and, like everyone, life has thrown me some curves as well as blessed me in many ways! Although I struggle with consistency, my main struggle seems to always be with exercise. It seems I do fine for awhile and then I get off track. I always go back to the basics but it does get discouraging.
I'm trying to focus on being a healthy me with the energy to have fun with my family!

Thank you for the bloglove, sweetie. I was pretty wiped the next day and have been slammed with civic organization paperwork since. I'm setting completion goals on that stuff for Friday and then I can go back to stuff that only matters to me.

I always get a similar feeling in the fall - that fresh lets get things done feeling, after our muggy summers. But that New Year experience just gives me energy. This winter - as we continue to fight our way through lock down, I hope we get one or two nice snowy days and have sunshine all the rest of the time. and maybe 50 degree temperatures, eh?

    big hugs to you honey

wow! 20 lbs is an enormous drop - and I honestly think if it comes slowly, you sort of get used to maintaining as you lose. But that's a change or two in clothing size and a huge shift in energy level. So mega congratulations on that. I'm not just happy for you - I'm inspired. As I was, in fact, last summer when you told me you were following that program. Then it was a lifeline, now it is a boost. Thank you both times.

Thank you for More Bloglove, hon.

HOw are you doing on WW this month. After almost a year of slipping and sliding - it just felt so good, and so easy - to get back on the wagon after Christmas. Seeing results too, which is always encouraging. Here's to a fantastic 2021, eh? In cuter clothes.
