My name is Carol and I have always struggled with my weight. I lost a lot of weight about 10 years ago by joining a 12 step program. I gave up flour and sugar and I weighed and measured my meals. I gained back the weight when I started being less rigid, but that plan was too rigid. I am fairly active but have a sit down job. I've been tracking my food on spark people and pretty much staying within my guidelines. It's not easy losing weight but at least I stopped gaining and I feel great just knowing I'm aware of what I'm eating I just keep on keeping on because I know it's much better for me than what I was doing. I pray a lot and meditate too with my kitty, who loves salad, really! I just keep the faith and try to have a loving attitude.

My Goals:
Loose enough weight to feel comfortable in my clothes and be able to work out easier.

My Program:
Gluten free. Track everything I eat. Mostly eat healthy choices but do have sweet tooth. Eat 2 pieces dark chocolate to satisfy the urge for sweets. Eat gluten free jam drop cookie one a day. Sometimes indulge in some chips but I track them when I do

Personal Information:
Sixty years young. Married with one son. Love to be outdoors. Love flowers and nature. Love to kayak on peaceful rivers with my hubby. Love to quilt and make handbags that have bling. Wish I wasn't quite so "chubby" but working on it. Meditate every morning before work. Love my prayer and quiet time.

Other Information:
Live in Western Mass and work at local college.
