Introduction Text My name is Kate and forever and ever I have been wanting to lose ten to fifteen pounds. I'm 59, and still want to lose that weight. I enjoy working out (lifting weights along with cardio) and typically do 5 - 6 days a week. Even with that, there is no loss in weight. I try to eat protein, fruits, veggies, and whole grains. My issue is that I just love eating and probably too much! With the help of Spark and friends I hope to reach my life long goal. I am a semiretired ultrasound technician living half a year in Illinois and half in Florida allowing my husband and I to enjoy our passion. Riding our motorcycles. We love camping and exploring the country on our bikes. We have a fairly active life. Health and fitness has always been important to me. My goal is to lose the weight and be in better shape and healthier at 59 than ever before. Age is only a number!

I mostly do supersets Day 1 - 4 different sets of chest and 3 of biceps Day 2 - 4 different sets of back and 3 of triceps Day 3 - 7 different sets of legs and 3 shoulders Day 4 - 5 different cores Day 5 - 2 set of chest and back (different than earlier in the week) Daily - sit ups 3 sets of 25 (I vary these daily) Three times a week - 3 sets of squats Cardio - at least a 30 minutes a day when I am lifting and 45 minutes on my off day and also on a core day(depending on how I feel, I take 1 -2 days off to rest

My main residence is in the Chicago area but we spend the winters in Florida. I share my passion of motorcycle riding and exercise with my wonderful husband. My other passion is relaxing with a good glass of Pinot Noir. I'm also a grandmother of two wildly active grandkids. My granddaughter just turned 15 and my grandson will soon be 8!
