I've struggled with binge eating all my life and was bulimic 10 years ago. I no longer purge but I've also gained 80 pounds in the last 10 years. (Yes the picture of me is about 40 pounds ago) This past year I've lost and gained the same 20 pounds more times than I can count.

I've always had an all or nothing attitude about losing weight which has not helped me. If I can't workout for some reason I figure why bother eating good and vice versa.

Sometimes I think I need to treat this like an alcohol or drug addict and just take it one day at a time.

My Goals:
Right now I'm not even going to post my long term goal because it almost seems impossible. Right now I just want to get under 200 pounds.


My Program:
Pray continuously for help with my food addictions and try to figure out what is missing in my life and why I'm trying to fill it with food all the time.

I have a huge (and I mean huge) collection of workout DVD's that I use for my workouts and try to SOMETHING every day including strength training at least twice a week, yoga twice a week and pilates once a week.



Personal Information:
I'm originally from Washington State and am now in Arizona.

I'm an at-home transcriptionist. I just have to pick up my tapes everyday and I have 24 hours to get them done. The pay isn't great but the flexibility is great and it allows me to keep up with my workouts. Plus I get to sit and listen to the details of car accidents, thefts and fires all day.


Other Information:
I enjoy painting, gardening and playing with my kitties. We have to 14 year olds and a young kitten who is keeping the other ones young.

I'm also trying to learn how to play the guitar again
