Well, we all know losing weight is not easy, and I have been on my share of diets. I really want to feel good about myself again. I have been here before at Sparks, but MIA for a looong time. Tooo long!
As I said, I have been on many diets, some I have been successful with and others not so great. When I have lost weight I always gained it back, and gained more weight each time! Here I am trying again. I want to feel good about myself, but most importantly I want to be HEALTHY! I just turned 47 years old I want to look good and be a FIT, HEALTHY person with my personality back. (I used to have a bubbly, confident personality!) My weight and some struggles in my life has changed me a lot inside. I'v lost confidence in me. It's hard to be one's complete self when on the outside you don't feel good about yourself. It really effects the inside. I need to kick it up and get myself motivated! I can do it for a weak or two or three, then I seem to fall. I don't want to fall any more!! I want to keep it going!! Im ready, I mean I feel ready, and hoping I can do it this time!!!! I want and need to feel good about me again! Let's face it, feeling ready is one thing, although sometimes harder getting it done. I am one of those people who needs the support from others sometimes to keep me going. I just don't seem to do as well without that support and extra push. So thank you everyone who is part of SPARK for your support! I do know I need to really push myself too, and I need to believe in myself!!! Daily life often gets in the way of things, and I tend to be an emotional eater. I'm not a big eater but often choose the wrong things. Doing what I have been doing has been causing my weight to add up through the years, and the older I get it is worse on my health,,,,, "It's time I stopped letting it add up! " It's time,., It's time I payed attention to what I put in my mouth! It's time to make my food choices count! It's time I got my butt moving and exercised more. (I have an office job so sit a lot during the day). It's time I made it all count so that instead of adding up pounds, I'm subtracting them! It's time that the only thing that is adding up is a healthier thinner me!!!

My Goals:
To make better food choices, drink lots of water, cut down on sugar, exercise more. I want to be healthy, look and feel good.

My Program:
Eating breakfast every day is one thing. I know it is important and it is something I really must push myself to do.
Water, water, water, have to drink my 8 glasses of water!
Cutting out sweets and adding more fiber.
Try not to eat after 6pm, and if I feel the urge to, then to choose low cal healthy snacks.

Personal Information:
Constantly renew your mind with encouraging phrases & scriptures.

No magic pill or secret formula will make you lose weight To reach a healthy weight, you must burn more calories than you take in. This is done by sticking to a sensible eating plan, regular exercise & by surrounding yourself with supportive people!**
