Hi Everyone! I am a 45 year old married stay at home mom. I have six beautiful children who keep me on my toes. Here's a little of my story.

I am an emotional eater and have an extremely hard time staying motivated to lose weight. I LOVE TO EAT!! I eat when I am bored, stressed, sad, happy, you name it. I gained my weight in my mid 20's when I went through a pretty rough time in my life. I lost some of the weight I gained during that time, but when I got pregnant with my first child, I gained back what I lost and then some. Now six children later, I am still carrying around all that extra baby weight.

My husband loves me the way that I am, but I am not happy. I am tired of being the "fat" girl and having low self esteem. I want to be able to enjoy shopping for clothes again. I want to walk into a "regular" store, pick something off of the rack and have it fit.

I want to play tag with my children without getting winded. I want to set a good example for them with a healthy lifestyle.

So, I am trying again. Baby steps, one day at a time. If I fall off the horse, I am going to pick myself up, dust myself off and get back on. I am not going to let myself give up. I CAN DO THIS!

Cut fast food out of my diet.

To lose 100lbs by July 2020

To live a healthier lifestyle.

To say bye bye to pre-diabetes.

My Program:
Tracking my water intake

Staying active in the Sparkpeople community.

At least 30 minutes of cardio 4 days a week.

Strength training 2 days.

Drinking at least 8 glasses of water daily.

Reducing my sodium intake.

Reducing my consumption of diet soda.

    I’ve been frustrated because the weight loss has become slow, I have to remind myself that it is slowly trending downward. This last week I backed off. While i kept tracking I ate a little more and exercised less. My knee has been hurting and I gave it time to heal. After my last physical therapy appointment I’m doing better and I’m slowly bringing my exercise back.
    Please try to keep tracking and don’t worry about your points. Just track the nonzero foods. It will help you get back on track. I hate to see you give up. You’re a terrific lady and I have faith in you!

    Hey there!!!! I am just NOW replying to your comment from 4 months ago!!! Maybe you are or are not here right now but I'm checking in. I haven't been on my page for a while. I was using the mobile app for a long time but now I'm back on the computer to keep a full picture. I lost about 20 pounds last year and I want to lose another 10 so I'll be here. I hope you are doing well!! I hope to see your updates and keep going strong!
