I am finding my way around this page and site slowly. I just joined March 29/08. I have tried many ways to get slimmer and fit. This looks like a supportive spot to try.
I live in Ontario, Canada
I currently am still working 2 days a week but looking forward to total retirement in a few months. Would like to have more energy for new interests and my grandchildren.
Looking forward to dropping inches and lbs!

I have been reading the Spark messages but have slipped away from doing anything about weight loss. I hope now I am ready to make 2009 my year for weight loss. I am now fully retired and the holiday season is over so now none of my previous "excuses" of no time for me exist. I had a fall a few days ago and broke my arm so am limited to exercise but food consumpti
on can be controlled so that is what I will concentrate on for the Jan/Feb while my arm heals. Thanks Spark for keeping in contact with me during my slack off period

Starting over again! I have been walking since the end of March and am up to 4 miles a day.With that habit firmly in place, now I will begin tracking my food intake.

Again with the starting over. I started yesterday tracking my food intake. Today I will start tracking my exercise. All aims are in place . I just have to do it! Watching the Olympics is enjoyable but distracting. Today I will attempt to watch from my treadmill

Well here I go again,. I have a fitness friend now and have been doing quite well in this area with walking, golfing and aqua fit. Hopefully the nutrition tracker will help me with food intake. I seem to have developed a few food allergies??? and will be trying to limit my wheat and dairy intake. Hopefully I will be fit and slim for a Nov. 2013 trip to Machu Picchu

Exercise is cardio for 1 hour 3 days a week and strength training and 1/2 hour walking 3 days a week

    Good luck with your weight loss this time. I actually started over as well just this past month, higher weight than I originally started at.
