And here we go.....AGAIN....I know what it takes to lose weight, I can lose weight, and have lost weight, several times. I just can''t seem to keep the weight I have lost off. This is still a lesson I must learn. I break free from within the safe confines of my cocoon, spread my beautiful new wings and fly for a bit; but I always end up back in the safety of my cocoon, food.

I am a perfectionist, a stress-eater, and I have a demanding job. Working 11- 12 hours a day at a desk is one of my demises. My stress- level is another.

I have been here before and I’m seeking the motivation and determinations to break free from my cocoon once and for all.

My Program:
Since I am a stress eater, I don't want to add more stress to my life, so I will keep it simple. Take this one day at a time.

54 year old from Ohio, married, with two sons, two grand children, and an angel in Heaven.

Compliance Officer for a community bank, where I have worked for more than 35 years.

I love the beauty of nature, a great story, good conversation, music, dancing, and creating things.

    Thanks for your encouraging words. I do know it is worth it.. I had actually lost 100 lbs once before (gained it back during a very physically and mentally abusive marriage with 2 pregnancies) ..so I know I CAN do it, because I have. It's just a little irritating when you watch what you eat and exercise daily to see no results. Sodium is something I have really been watching in my food tracking as well because both of my parents even in their 30s were on 15 - 20 pills a day for different reasons. I am not doing this just to look and feel better as far as the weight..but also because I plan to live a very very long time and I would like to do that without filling my days with some type of pills... I have been also doing a lot of strength training the past couple of weeks so i'm sure some of that could be muscle. I did go ahead and do measurments although I did them last week as well.. I actually did lose some inches..so i'm thinking it has to be muscle. So, we'll have to see how next week goes... my scale did live through the weigh in, only because I wanted to give it another shot next week to see if it has learned it's lesson. hah
