"Hardships makes us strong. Problems give birth to wisdom. Sorrows cultivate compassion. Those who have suffered the most will become the happiest."

"By accepting who you are, does not necessarily abandon all hope of self improvement. Life is about accepting what is and working from that; which is considered growth. The key to life is accepting challenges. Challenges are what makes life worth living. What's your worth...think...decide...then go from there....the first step is always the hardest but never the last."

I'm a 27yr old female that is trying to gain control of her life. I Can, I Will, I Am going to be successful with this life changing experience I am about to endeavor. The word I Can't will not reside in my vocabulary any longer.

"Every once in awhile YOU have to Take Inventory of Your Life and let People, Things, & Situations GO!!!"
This year I will not be making any resolutions, because in my opinion I tend to fall short every year of completing them. Resolutions to me are about changing things that are wrong in my life instead of staying on track of goals made whether short or long and evaluating life’s situations.

“Success demands that you must go where you’ve never gone before, doing what you’ve never done before! Failure is not an option!”
2010 will bring me much success and happiness, with it brings forth a New Year, New Start, and a New Attitude, I will exceed the impossible in my eyes. I will excel to new levels in life whether they are physical, mental, emotional, or professional. The extra baggage from previous years including 2009 and before will not continue over into 2010 but be left behind with 2009. 2009 had its ups and downs and through it all I had some joy, some pain, some accomplishments, and some setbacks but those are in the past and now it is time to look toward the future.

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
As of today I will aim to achieve goal set to make life for me healthier, fulfilling, happy, and successful. Exercise and healthy eating will be one of my goals for the new me. This goal will provide me with what life has to offer by continuing life itself, I will not be back on medication and will work on controlling health conditions that I have by preventing any new ones. I will surround myself with positive people that have goal and willing to accomplish them so that I am not brought down by anyone’s negativity while trying to better myself and accomplish goals that I have set for myself. 2010 will the year for a New Me… (New attitude, New career, Better health)!

"There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."
This year I will show more commitment and less interest while taking inventory of my life in 2010.

"Life isn't about "finding" yourself, it's about "creating" yourself."
2010 will be the new creation of CarpeDiem_2010!!!

Momentum can be difficult to establish. And that's what makes it so valuable.
Because once you have it going in your favor, momentum can be hard to stop. With momentum on your side, small efforts can bring big results, and those big results can lead to even bigger ones.
Yes, momentum takes some effort and commitment to put into motion. And it is very much worth the trouble.
Take the time and make the effort to start something positive. Even though, in the short term, it would be easier and more comfortable to just do nothing, look past those immediate concerns.
Look ahead to that point where momentum kicks in, and consider the value of putting it to work in your favor. Then get up, get going, and get to work on building that momentum.
Start something positive, and create some valuable momentum. You'll be able to ride that momentum as far as you can imagine.

-- Ralph Marston

Words of Wisdom:

...No EXCUSES...
Remember, excuses are tools of incompetence, built on monuments leading nowhere…those that use excuses rarely succeed at what they do

.. The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called GOD, you will make it to a place called Success

...NO Regrets...
..…yet if I could do it all over again I’d do it in the same skin I’m in to lay down and let love die just stay down and let love lie? no, no..not I I’d stay around and let love fly even though I have seen its darkest form deceit nothing else could taste this warm or feel this sweet... Dec 29 2009:
2009 was the start of SparkPeople, in the begining I didn't really focus on the tools that this site provided and once I did I successfully lost around 46 pounds. The reason for such success was exercise, eating healthy and most of all the motivation/support provided from friends...I could have not done this alone.
