I'm Lauren :)

I am here to lose weight, be healthy, and feel more self confident. I am getting married this year, and I have sever baby fever! I want to look amazing on my special day, and be thin enough so when I get pregnant I won't gain so much weight and be at my heaviest again. My goal is 145. I can do it~

I fell off the wagon this year, and I ballooned back up from 185 to 208. As of August 1st, 2010 I was 205, and I was detmermined to get back on track and finally reach my goals. I said I would never be over 200 again, and I failed no one but myself. I am back on track, and I am so proud of myself.

I am doing great, very proud of myself! I am back down in the 180's! I am getting closer and closer to my goals. I am going to have to step it up a notch to keep things going. I love it that people are starting to notice! :)

I am offically down 23 pounds since August! I am at my new all time low of 182, and I hope to be 180 by Thanksgiving and of course in the 170's by Christmas!!! Oh Goal, look out because I am sooo close!!! 12 more pounds to go until I hit my next goal of 170. I also got my Wedding Dress!!! I feel llike a princess this go around! I bought a size 16, but it has to be taken in a lot in the hips. My wedding dress I wore at 235-240 was a 24W.. Talk about a wonderful accomplishment!!! I am wearing all of my size 12 jeans that I couldn't wear last winter, I feel soooo great!

I am even lower then my all time low!!! This morning I weighed in at 173!!! OHH YEAH!!!! I am very happy! I still feel huge, and I stil have more to lose, but I am very proud of myself. It took a while, but people at work noticed when I got around 178. My family saw me on Thanksgiving and Christmas and said I get smaller every time they see me.. That made me feel good, but I won't be completely happy until I hit my goal and tone up more. Once I hit 170 I am hiring a personal trainer to kick my butt and tone me up! Bring it on!!!!!!

My story....

I have been on the heavy side my entire life, but when I was 18, I started gaining more weight. I gained 55 pounds within a year and a half. I feel that I gained this weight because I was comfortable with the relationship I was in at the time, and just didn't know when to stop eating. I eat when I am bored, but that is no longer the case! I have found more productive things to do with my time instead of eat and pack on the pounds. At the time, I was getting married in May 06 so I started this journey in Nov. 05 so I could be thinner by my wedding. I only lost 20 pounds by my wedding with the help of nutrisystem, and I never framed one wedding picture. I was disgusting, and I hated myself for not losing more weight for my special day.

I let my weight maintain until Jan. 1, 2008 when I finally started working out daily and doing things the right way. I lost down to 217 by the end of Feb. Then my husband and I seperated at the end of March 08, resulting in giving me a new motivation, that I had to get myself to looking good so that I could find a new man, lol! I finally lost down to 200 in April of 2008, then I got divorced in June 2008. My weight maintained in the 190's for over a year, and has now gradually crept back up into the 200's where I am currently maintaining. I am finally DONE and will lose these last stubborn 30-45 pounds.

I am on a journey that will not end until I succeed!!!

My Program:
I am eating healthier, and exercising more..

I work out 3-5 times a week, and I do not eat over 1,500 calories. Veggies more often then before. I eat something chocolate daily, but in moderation.


I recently started my self discipline plan...

I now wake up 20 minutes early each morning before work, and I get on my elliptical for 20 minutes 1st thing.. I am not a morning person, and this is one of the hardest things I have ever tried, but I cannot explain the feeling of knowing that I am doing this. Knowing I am sticking to something that I put my mind to. Knowing I CAN do this.. The feeling is unexplainable, and I am enjoying life now more then ever.
