I love being a wife, mom, radio DJ, singer, worship leader, speaker, blogger and occasional community theatre actor.

Since moving to Florida in 2019, I haven't been singing, worship leading, speaking or blogging much. I feel like my current full time radio DJ job pulls me away from my family already too much to want to do anything else but be with my family when I'm not at work. So in a way, it's been a choice to not pursue other passions/hobbies right now. Being a better, loving wife & mom is my biggest goal.

I'm grateful that I was able to lose the weight I gained with pregnancy...twice! Thank you, Lord!

In January 2019, I did 11 days of Whole 30 and FINALLY broke past the plateau of the 130lbs.! I made it to 129!!!

In March of 2019, I moved from Houston, TX to Orlando, FL. I think staying with my sister, eating more home cooked meals, eliminating afternoon snacks, cutting back on sodas and the general stress of the move helped me lose about 5 more pounds!

As of May 2019, I'm at 125! It's the lowest weight since I got pregnant with my son in 2005!

Today's update in February of 2021, I'm at 126lbs. I completed a FULL Whole30 last year, July 2020, and dropped to 114 lbs! I got off my bp meds ... but a few months later, went back to regular old non-Whole30 eating habits and my bp went back up.

I'm thinking of doing another Whole30 to reset this year and hopefully get off that bp pill for GOOD!

I pray practically every night, asking God to give my kids a long, fruitful, healthy, satisfying life to glorify Him. It's a bedtime blessing my hubby and I love saying over them. I pray that for all my family.

-Use emeals or stay mostly Whole30 or "Real Food" for dinner

Personal Information:
I'm a puertorrican girl living in Florida with her family. We love Jesus! I work in radio, used to sing in church and love doing theatre & Zumba. Completed my 1st half-marathon in 2015 and love doing an occassional 5k (though I haven't post Covid.)

Other Information:
My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ."

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs.
