Introduction Text I started with SparkPeople in May 2006. I have been struggling with my weight since I had my girls. I've tried many diet over the years and my weight has gone up and down. I've done NutriSystems, Weight Watchers and Atkins. I've had the most success with Atkins but if you don't follow that to the letter of the law it can be dangerous. I had a heart attack a few months ago and I am now watching my calories, sodium, fats, and cholesterol very closely. I have dropped 28 pounds in the past three and a half months. I am restarting my diet in 2016. The weight had slowly crept back up on me over the past ten years. My goal isn't quite as ambitious as it was ten years ago, so hopefully I will be more successful this time.

My goal is to lose about 35 more pounds.

I am trying to follow the recommended program. I am a diabetic with heart problems so I have to watch my sugar, cholesterol and sodium closely. The exercise part is the hardest for me to follow ''cause I am not good at it.

My name is Nancy and I am 62 years old. I am a Christian and a mother of two grown girls, Cindy and Nicole. I have two grandsons, Jesse and Mikko and two granddaughters, Sophia and Marit. I am happily married for forty years. I live in Gadsden, AL but I am originally from New York.
