I started this journey at 270 pounds on the dot. I'm now in One-derland, made it down into the 160's then tragedy struck and I gained back up to the 190's. I'm fluctuating between lower 190's and upper 180's. I'm determined to get down to my goal weight of 130 to 120 (depends on what feels right to my body)!! I've done the calculations, and it can be done. I've set small rewards and big rewards along the way, every 5 pounds. And my final reward? Going skydiving with my SIL!! I'm scared of heights so it seems silly but as Ruth Soukup says, "it is okay to be afraid, but it is not okay not to try." And it sounds so amazing. I laughed and said that I've always said I'd never jump out of a perfectly good airplane, but here I am planning on it!! LOL!!!

So that first 100 pounds? All Dirty and Lazy Keto. So I wondered... What if I go full on Keto? What would that even look like. Hello library and teams on Keto! I actually bought a few books and have made a few recipes. I have a lot to learn, but I think I'm going to like this!!!

My Goals:
Big Goal, lose down to between 130-120, I'm short, so this is actually a little higher than the national charts say I should weigh, but I'm going to have a lot of loose skin. Once I lose that weight, my reward is skin surgery!!!

My Program:
Jillian Michaels workouts, pilates, focus on abs, I had hernia repair and need to strengthen my core. Walking and slowly bumping up the speed and incline on my treadmill. Walking my little dog twice a day so he can lose weight too (use MapMyWalk when doing this). And when I can drive, join some form of martial arts.

Personal Information:
I am a Christian Stay At Home Mom (SAHM) and love my job! I love to read, crochet, bake, hike (when I'm able), and play games. I have several chronic illnesses that often get in the way, but we are working hard at working around them as best we are able.
