I've struggled way too long and it just got out of control! I'm ready to add other colors to my wardrobe besides black! And for once in my life, I would like to be glad to have my picture taken instead of looking for something to hide behind! Stress is a big factor in my life as I deal with two teenage daughters, a nasty ex husband and financial pressure. But I am not going to use any of this as an excuse to ignore my own health and well being anymore! I am excited about my weightloss journey! I've been down this road many times but have not been serious about it for more than 15 years. I want to be healthy and enjoy life while I am still young. They say today's 40 is yesterday's 30! So I feel like I have a new lease on life! I plan to be the trimmest and most in shape that I have ever been by the time I am 43 years old! So I have until June to make this happen! And I have promised myself that I will maintain my new lifestyle for the rest of my life!

My Goals:
My goal is to work at this one day at a time. I plan to make very informed choices about what I eat and always be aware of the times I am tempted to eat due to emotional stress.

My Program:
I drink at least 64oz and sometimes as much as 96oz of water every day. I plan ahead and make sure I have plenty of healthy foods in my home all the time and I always pack an ample supply to take with me to work everyday so that I am sure to stay on track.

Personal Information:
I was born and rasied in Union County, NC and have lived here all my life. All my family lives in the area. I have always been a Daddy's girl and will remain until the day I die. I am very close to my parents and they are the most wonderful people in the world.

Other Information:
I am a very big Harry Potter fan! And I also love Stephanie Meyers' books! I don't have as much time as I'd like for reading but when I do, I'm usually so wrapped up in the book that I can't function until I've finished it.

Tomorrow is the beginning of a new month! If you think I’m not going to be checkin’ up on you to see if you’re stayin’ on track, you must be a fool – an April fool! Get it?

Seriously though, the sun is starting to feel warmer, the days are longer and we can get out there and do so many things that will help us lose. So let’s do it! Stay motivated. Picture yourself in that bathing suit, no not that one!, the new one you’ll have to buy because you look so smokin’ hot!!

Stay focused and keep loggin’ your food. Look how the time has flown by since you’ve joined Spark. Just keep on keepin’ on, one bite at a time! I know you're busy, hope you're doing things that make you smile!

I just wanted to “hop” in one more time before the holiday! I wish you an egg-specially good weekend filled with lots of fun and special time with your family! Keep your sweets and treats to a minimum so you won’t be shaped like an Easter egg!

It’s SPRING, and I’m so excited about getting outside! It’s time to do all the fun things that warm weather brings! We can garden, mow, rollerblade, walk, and ride our bikes. It will be hard to find an excuse not to exercise. I hope you’re anxious too, let’s get moving!

Wishing you many blessings and a Happy Easter!

I pretty much stick to the same regiment. I drink lots of water, and stay within my ranges on the food tracker. I average around 1250 calories. Some days eating more (my Thursday Pizza Hut night) and other days eating a little less. I seldom eat below 1200. We did start rollerblading, but we've only done that twice. We are also still doing the Biggest Loser Power Sculpt every other day. I am building muscle which burns more fat, which is good. The only other thing I'm doing is walking different routes. Kenny's car broke, so I'm carless and can't do my usual walk at the park, (it's 5 miles away). I walk downtown and to the grocery store instead.

You're body is probaby mad about being sick. Once you get back on track, it'll start losing again. :) Keep your chin up!

Hey Cindy, I know what you mean, I feel so bad for her parents. What a thug huh, 17 and two murders along with other crimes on his record. It must be harder for you with your daughter going to UNC, my youngest informed me she is moving out this summer to Greensboro, that scares me because she doesn't even want her boyfriend living with her when she moves. I guess all we can do is teach them safety. We bought Chelsea some Mace for her key chain after she was grabbed by someone she knew in OCT. She knows all the rules, no one in her car alone with her but her boyfriend, or close girlfriends. She goes out do not drink anything unless you open it and it Never leaves your sight.

You'll get back in the swing of it. I am on crutches right now, I think I torn something in my left knee. I can hardly stand up without wanting to sit right back down from the pain. Its been like this since last Saturday. Going to a Bone Dr the 2 of April. I have been sick with Bronchitis, Pneumonia, sinus infections. when this batch of antibiotics is done I Will have been on them for 6 weeks now. Than add in there it is the starting of allergy season.

Steve said yesterday in Chapel Hill everyone was wearing Carolina Blue, even in his office on Franklin Street. So Sad!

So sorry to hear about you being a sicky-chicky! I hope things normalize soon so you'll be back to your old self!

The wagon is waiting. I'll jump off and take the pooper scooper and give you a hoist to help you get back on! If you're too heavy for me to lift, then maybe we can just tie a rope to your foot and drag you behind the wagon. :)

Take care of yourself, I'm happy you didn't gain!
