Introduction Text Wife, mother, and grandmother, retired elementary school principal. Extremely blessed! Lover of nature, birds, books, gardening, cooking, walking and writing.

I know I won't be perfect, but my goal is to change dietary habits to reduce cholesterol, lose weight and get in shape to become healthier.

1) Drink more water 2) Move more 3) Focus on adding more healthy food/whole grains and vegetables Morning Ritual Includes: 1) Drink a full glass of water first thing in the morning 2) Daily devotional and read 10 pages from a personal self-help/inspirational book 3) State a positive affirmation 4) Write in journal (specific gratitude, inspirational quote, bible verse and/or reflection)

I have been married for 45 years to my awesome husband who is also retired. We have two children and 3 grandchildren and are fortunate enough to all live within 20-30 minutes of each other. I enjoy reading, birdwatching, gardening, and anything nature related. We just rescued a sweet little 1 year old dog (our first rescue) and she is so wonderful!! We were nervous at first, but she is such a joyful addition to our family.
